Not what I was expecting,

"Honestly, for the price of this tee shirt I was expecting a heavier weight material that would hang better and resist wrinkling more. The material is just too similar to the low-price ones found in any discount store, though the cut and style is better. Also, I was unhappy to read the washing instructions and discover that it needs to be washed in cold water, delicate, separately, etc. and that is just too much fussing for a tee shirt, in my opinion."

"I am afraid that I am unhappy with its length. It seems to be a pervasive in women's T shirts the past couple years and it is sad for me. The long length only exacerbates a tummy that is NOT FLAT. I am in good shape at 125 and am 73. I would appreciate manufacturing to go back to 23-24 lengths... I am screaming this from the rooftops!! thanks for the opportunity to let it out!! I am therefore returning 2 others I purchased. I cannot recommend it to anyone because of it."

"I think the fabric is much too heavy for summer tops. The neck is a bit too small on the extra small. It would be nice to have the tee shirts a little more fitted (or more shape). I am also very disappointed in the lack of color choice in the extra small."

"Just received the garment-washed tee I ordered in August. Shellcoral color - in the catalog picture this is a pink color - the tee I received is orange.....????? I would not recommend this particular item because of the color difference in the catalog and what the actual color is. I rate one star, again because of the color difference."

"This useful tee shirt is made of good quality, thick, cotton. The 'easy' fit is ideal for me. Good on its own or under jacket. I dress this tee shirt up with a silk or Libertys scarf."

"I was expecting this year's 'Garment-Washed Tees' to be the same as last year's ones which were excellent for me, i.e. good material and drape, not too long in length and somewhat boxy in shape, so that they sat nicely near the top of the hips when wearing skirts and didn't come too low or hug the hips. Unfortunately, this year's tees seemed to be much longer (I am five and a half feet tall and ordered three medium ones in the aqua sea colour) and the material, although still 100% cotton, seems to be woven differently - it is far more ribbed and stretchy - which unflatteringly hugs the hips and tum because of the longer length. Orvis, please, please go back to last year's lovely cotton weave and slightly shorter length. I have kept this year's tees as I needed the aqua sea colour, but haven't managed to find elsewhere any as nice as the ones I ordered from you last year.
