"Beautifully comfortable, so soft and given the waistband not uncomfortable at all. My only cavil is that these trousers are not available in the usual Orvis different leg lengths. According to my waist size I should be taller (!) so I had to pay a local tailors to turn them up which increased the cost."

"Ordered these pants for my husband's birthday. Expected fleece -- kinda like the description. These pants are some sort of twill. I honestly can't picture these pants on anyone under 50. To add insult to injury, I had to pay shipping/postage both ways. More than annoying. I've always liked Orvis, but I'll hesitate to order online again."

"Bought these for my husband who says these are comfortable pants, just wish they came sized for the inseam since I have to shorten the length (that's way I rated them as a 4 otherwise it would have been 5)."

"I was expecting jog/ sweat pants, but these have quickly become my favourite trousers. I give an ahh every time I pull them on. Soft, heavy and supremely comfortable. You could wear them for any occasion.

"The waist fit perfect on these pants, but the legs were big enough for a small elephant. I could put both my legs in one pant leg.
I had a similiar problem with a sweater I bought from Orvis online.
It was a little big and as I wore it it turned into a tent."
