"Not quite the quality that I expected from Orvis, but it's okay. The first one had a big flaw in it, so we returned it for another. In Southeastern PA, searsucker is the greatest thing invented since sliced bread for the summertime! I just expected it to be better quality. It's a bit coarse and unrefined. But the price wasn't bad either."

"This king size bedspread is the best spread for one primary and two secondary reasons:
Primary: it is bigger in length and width of any I have purchased in the past. It covers the entire length of the bed and easily covers the pillows with enough left over to completely hide the mattress. At the foot of the bed, it just barely reaches the floor.

"I ordered this spread to use in all seasons except winter. The weight is excellent - not so thin that you can see through but thin enough to be comfortable on warmer nights. It fits my queen bed very well hanging about 2 inches from the floor on the sides. It is a bit long at the corners but drapes well. Certainly a good value for the money."

"Color is perfect. I wanted a light weight bedspread (not a comforter) I could wash. I haven't washed it yet, but I know it will wash in my machine even though it is king size. It is a bit short on the sides, but I was expecting that with my new somewhat taller mattress set, therefore, I ordered a twin size also. I will use it to make and sew a band around the bottom to add length and I also will round the corners when I do this. Overall, I am pleased with this purchase."

"I have been looking for a king size bedspread and happened upon this seersucker spread from Orvis. The price was better than others I found on line. The spread is well made, soft and comfortable. It is a great year round weight for Florida. Only downside, it's a bit short on the sides and the square corners hang on the floor. I do not have a dust ruffle on the bed, which was the main reason I wanted a bedspread instead of a quilt or comforter."

"I had tried to purchase this item in white for last summer but it wasn't available until late in the season. I didn't find anything similar and was happy to see it in stock again even if it wasn't warm anymore. When it arrived I checked it for size and weight. It is exactly what I was looking for: generous and well made, light but substantial. Another fine home product from Orvis."

"I have been looking for a "quality" seersucker bedspread to replace an old one which I loved and used for years. This product lives up to more than the description. The price is also excellent. I was concerned that the product might shrink upon washing but did not do so at all. For a light spread for summer, it is a perfect weight. Excellent product"

"I bought the year-round seersucker bedspread to use in a seasonal beach cottage in Maine. It is lightweight, but not flimsy and seems to be very well made. It's perfect for the summer, but paired with sheets and another blanket, I could definitely use this year round. It is simple and pretty, and just what I was looking for at a great price."

"This is a great seersucker spread...heavier than any that I have bought before. I would have given it an excellent rating, but it is a little shorter on the sides than I would like. It doesn't touch the floor. The sham covers are really nice."
