"This is so well made and the colors are beautiful. I purchased one years ago and it's lasted a long time and still looks great despite being washed at least twice a week (my dogs like to sleep on the bed.) The bedspread is soft and comfortable, I highly recommend it."

"I ordered the pastel stripe seersucker bedspread and ended up being disappointed in the color. In the photos I saw, the colors, while pastel, were a whole lot brighter than the actual spread turned out to be. I have had several Orvis seersucker spreads for summer use. I like the weight and ease of care of the fabric, so will keep it, but am not as happy as I expected to be."

"Great color - light weight - bought it because we have dogs that sleep with us and I wash the spread often. I always use cold water and dry at a low temperature and still this spread shrinks each time it is washed."

"While I love the look of the spreads on the beds, they are too long. Perhaps they were sized for very high mattresses but they drag on the floor a bit too much."

"Loved the pattern of this bedspread- reminds me of fruit-stripe gum! BUT, I expected a bedspread to have two layers of cloth with some very lightweight fill in between... or to be a very substantial material which seersucker obviously isn't. Well, this is just a single layer of hemmed fabric. The white is somewhat transparent, so when I put it on the bed with a blue blanket underneath, it did not look good. You could see the blue through it, except where it hung past the mattress... like wearing a colored bra under a white shirt!

"This bedspread is perfect for summer. I was surprised that the colors I received are a lot paler than I expected (compare my photo to the Orvis photo) but I can live with it. The lightweight seersucker improves my sleep!"

"When I first put the spread on my Grandmother's antique bed, I didn't like it at all. The next day I tried it again. The difference was that I first took off the quilt underneath. The spread is so thin you could see the quilt underneath. Would have liked it much better if it would have been thicker or had some kind of backing. I finally decided to keep it and use it in the summer."

"Because we have 3 indoor pets and must change our spreads weekly, OR suffer the hair, these are a godsend. Even the king size fits in my washing machine. The only caveat is that they lose color....especially the brick red. The shrinkage is noticeable but not terrible. Currently, I have four of these spreads (master & guest room) and have just ordered two more."
