Quasimodo Pheasant Tail

Tied on a curved hook, this variation on the Pheasant Tail offers a different look to a classic pattern. Imagine two Quasimodos in tandem, or as dropper flies tied off of a Tunghead Mayfly. Infinite possibilities. Tied with a bead and in the flashback style, these nymphs will work for a number of mayfly species and makes great dropper flies. Sizes: 14, 16, 18, 20.

"Ordered these fly's for an upcoming trip to the Wisconsin Driftless area.
These fly's are good looking, well tied and look like they'll hold.
On the down side. Ordered these fly's on 5/22. They didn't ship till 6/2
As a result, I didn't have them with me for the trip.
This is not the first time.

THE Go-To dropper fly for Smoky Mountain Trout.,
March 19, 2010
By: SmokyMountainGillies

"My Clients and I have probably caught more trout on this dropper fly than any other. Fish it 18"-24" back from a size 14 Parachute Adams (use 6x Mirage Tippet), and you will catch fish in the Smokies all season long."
