Many uses,
April 15, 2013
By: IDbirdman
from Meridian, ID
"Here in Idaho we usually have 6 weeks during the beginning of bird season that is very warm and dry with a lot of relentless sun. This shirt keeps you cool while providing protection from the sun and is good looking and comfortable in every way. It is cut generously and a Medium is perfect for my 42 long frame"

Purchase,
March 29, 2013
By: BIGSHOOTER
from Clearwater, FL
"The only problem I have with this product is that the sizes are not very accurate. They run big, as in a medium is like a big large, a large is a huge XL etc, and when shopping online that is a bit of a situation. Otherwise, great shirts."

Classy and comfortable,
March 11, 2013
By: Waterswatter
from North Florida
"This shirt is perfect for spring time sporting clays shooting down here in Florida. The long sleeves help keep the sun off your skin but light enough to prevent from sweeting like a typical shooting shirt.
Have already recommended to others."

"While it is a "warm weather" shirt I had expected to find the shoulder patch to be "quilted". Instead it just has two layers of cloth under the diamond stitching on the shoulder."

Lefties unite!,

By: Dogtripper

"Finally a decent shooting shirt that comes in a left-handed style. I haven't worn it much yet because the weather is still rather cool, but it fits well and allows for a comfortable and unimpeded gun mount."

Deceptive in appearance.,

By: connoisseur

"Collar deceptively short in depth. Olive colour much darker shade than its illustration. Recoil pad merely a hint as outlined by the stitching. Nothing of substance. Shirt fabric feel very nice."

Sand? Strange color arrived,
November 13, 2012
By: Gauch
from Charlotte, NC
"One of the two colors listed for the shirt is "Sand". Picturing the color of sand at Wrightsville Beach, I choose "Sand". What came was a very light lime green shirt that looks nothing like "Sand" unless the sand it was named after was permeated with algae."

Hot weather answer,

"This is a very nice lightweight/cotton shooting shirt! I have tried the synthetics but still like cotton as it breaths so much better. This shirt is going to be worn a lot this summer as Texas is not a comfortable place to be outside!"

handsome shirt,
April 19, 2012
By: Grins
from Asheville NC
"I purchased this shirt for my husband who shoots sporting clays with 2 friends. It will be great for shooting this summer, but it is also good looking enough to wear to the club on pub nights. It is GENEROUSLY sized and the large is a little big for my husband, who is a 42 reg. The sleeves can be rolled and secured, which is a plus for warmer days."

"This is an excellent lightweight shooting shirt. I have not worn it in the field yet, but have to the skeet range. It is light, but perfect as is on hot days and with a tee, long or short, on cooler days. The recoil pad is not heavy, as it seems to be simply an additional layer of fabric. That's fine with me as I shoot 20 ga. and do not require additional padding. I purchased 3 shirts-short sleeve red, and long sleeve in sand and olive. Stylish and functional."

"Great shirt! I love the color and the way it comes out of the dryer. Needs very little ironing. I do wish it came in a smaller size for women as I am not a big person.
I wish Orvis would provide more hunting/shooting clothes for women. They do not seem to be available."

"I ordered these shirts based on Lovie's review that the shirt has access to add padding. Foolishly I asked CS to find the measurements for the padding as I was considering purchasing a Reactar recoil pad insert. As those who have the shirt know, the "recoil pad" is a second layer of material with a stitched diamond pattern and no access between the two layers of cloth. Not my definition of a recoil pad. I returned the two long sleeve and two short sleeve shirts for credit."
