"Good Corduroy pants are hard to find unless you shop at Orvis.
Every year, as Winter approaches I begin to dream about good, high quality cords. Orvis has them and this year I ordered some to wear and then I ordered 2 more pair just in cast I can't find any next year. They are as good looking on as they are on the hanger, The ridges are thick thus keeping a person warm.

"I liked the idea of these pants for winter wear. First I orderd two pair in the Large size, which often fits me. But they were far too big. Then I thought I would try the Medium size, But because of the thickness and stiffness of the fabric, the pants bunch aukwardly aound the waist and hips. Perhaps they would soften with washing, but I chose to return both the Large and the Medium size."

"I ordered navy colored corduroy pants. What arrived was black colored corduroy pants - with the label navy on the plastic packaging.
The fit and quality was good, but it was not what I ordered. I am keeping them to avoid the hassle of returning."

"I liked the fabric and the elastic waist but unfortunately had to return them because legs were huge. Much too wide to wear plus the the crotch was too far down from the waist. I thought of exchanging for the next smaller size but they would have been too short. Generally, a very poor cut all around."

"I love corduroy pants and shirts and wanted some pants that would be comfortable for traveling. I ordered a pair in Olive in size Petite Medium. I should have ordered a Small because they were so big, but that probably wouldn't have mattered. Even though they were Petite length, they were way too long in the legs and in the crotch/rise. Unfortunately I had to return them. A 29 inch inseam is still pretty long for petite. Most petite pants I have purchased in the past have been about 28 inches and never have they been so long and big in the crotch area. The material and workmanship is good, but the size and fit are not."

"They are the best pants I have for looking dressed up without having to wear a dress. They hold their shape, wash and dry beautifully and hold their color. I like them so much that I bought them in navy as well as brown. I also like that they have an elastic waist and no drawstring.
