"I ordered and just received two of these tops. The first requirement for me is comfort, as my skin is very sensitive. These are soft as a kitten against the skin and the fit is perfect. I usually wear a medium but chose SMALL and I'm glad I did, as the fit is quite generous."

"You should be a "skinny real turtle" to wear this shirt. Fabric is heavy and not very soft - and overall fit is for a very tall thin gal with a really skinny neck. ( And I am not fat)"

"I am going to love this. The sleeves are full length, but I can push them up if I get warm. The Fit is very good. I usually wear a large or extra large and I tried on and bought a large in this. I can button up the neck to stay warm. Hope they add more colors!"

"I had bought this shirt in another color at one of your shops, and liked it so well I ordered the red one online. It is soft, comfortable, and feels good layered or alone. Warm but not too hot. Really a great shirt; washes well"

"Love the fabric, love the style, but when you say the color is pearl it indicates to me white or pale gray, as did the photo in the catalog. I had the same problem with what you called black. Pearl was "oatmeal". Black was gray. Barn red was terra-cotta. I'm happy to say we have no barns that color in Kansas! I've paid lot of shipping costs because of this. Am returning the terra cotta one today. The loden was actually loden & I love it. I'm also ordering another gray one today."

Fabric disappointing after washing,

"This shirt fabric (100% cotton) is soft and the size is a good fit. However, after washing it once, found that it did not hold its shape that well. It seemed to get wider and shrunk in length. I'm now somewhat disappointed in it., especially since it cost $49. I love the color but I think Orvis should put some stretch in the fabric (w/polyester or nylon)."

"I purchased this ten-button pullover in black XL which, I agree with other reviews, is more charcoal. It's very soft, nice material. It fits true-to-size and hangs straight and well. It's great to run out anywhere and it's nice and cozy for home. Like it a lot!"

"I am wearing this shirt now as I write. Very comfortable, and flattering; it goes with anything. I have it in a charcoal color. The small buttons down the front make it quite stylish. Also, the weight of the fabric is perfect for me because I tend to get too hot in heavier fabrics....it's ideal for layering."

"I really like the heathered cotton ten-button shirt. I bought two a couple weeks ago, and yesterday I ordered two more. The shirt is a soft cotton which didn't shrink when washed. I like all the detail at the neck with the little white buttons which give the shirt more personality than a plain mock turtleneck. The ember black is more of a charcoal gray but still a good color. I wish this shirt came in more colors."

"I really like this ten button heather mock neck top. It's soft, comfortable, warm but not heavy and the plum color is wonderful for fall. The fit seems true. I purchased a medium because it is all cotton. I am between a small and medium and after washing it's perfect. A great addition to my wardrobe. Thanks, Orvis!"
