"This is a good book for anglers who are planning a trip to California and want to know what the popular rivers are in the state. Logically written with some good information on accesses, river maps, and hatch guides, as well as techniques on how to fish said rivers."

"A very good resource with plenty of excellent info for those unfamiliar with the rivers being described. The maps weren't as detailed as I had hoped, but since I can't afford a guide, this was the next best alternative for me!"
