A-Line Melange Sweatshirt

We've taken the traditional quarter-zip sweatshirt for women, reworked it in our own plush French terry melange knit, and styled it with a swingy A-line shape. Front seaming defines the front bib and roomy kanga pocket. Stand collar. Cotton/polyester sweatshirt for women. In dusty purple. Washable. Imported.Sizes L(14-16); about 26" long.

Best Gift Ever,
February 24, 2013
By: loveyourclothes
"Love the drape of this sweatshirt--seams form a kind of pleat in the front beginning at the top of the pocket, making the bottom very roomy and comfortable. It's also not too long and a nice weight for any season. Shoulders fit well. Sometimes XL sizes are too big in the shoulders, but not this one. Light color is very subtle and pretty--cross between light lavender and gray, depending upon the lighting. Wish it came in some vibrant colors too."

"I like the way this shirt zips up to wear as a turtleneck; that's really useful on cooler days. I wore it to work."

Little disappointed,

"I was hoping this would in in local Orvis so I could see it before purchasing. I love the style and the color - dusty purple. Disappointed in the actual fabric used. I was expecting fabric to be more like real sweatshirt material. The inside loops are loose and constantly snag. Just hope it doesn't start showing on outside."

A-line big enough to catch the wind,

"This had potential, but the A-line design of the bottom was big enough to make a skirt twirl. Very strange. Also, I find many of the Orvis clothes run very large."
