"I have other similar shorts from Orvis that I like, but this pair of PL was so large in the waist that it would have fallen off me. The shorts seem sturdy and are as pictured, but I recommend them only if you have a waist that is almost as big as your hips. I returned the shorts."

so being 5ft 4" and 120lbs I did
order a size M. I had that size in
another short Orvis made. Was
I sad to mail it back since it was
super huge. I did measure from one M to this and did order the size S.
The fit is way better one review did state and I do agree the size issue
does differ. The quality is super
and the weight for Florida also
is good a little heavy but I do
like that. Hope this helps some
one on the fence. Also on sale go for it. if near a size 12 get M near size 8 to 10 try S"
