"These boots look great! They are somewhat distressed but less than in the photo. The leather is very soft and supple. I really wanted to like them, but unfortunately my heels were not comfortable because they moved around a bit, both up-and-down and side-to-side, and one of the shoes squeaked when I walked, so I had to return them. My search for the perfect chukkas continues..."

"First let me say that I really like Orvis products and have had only excellent experiences! These shoes were total disappointment. They arrived damaged and it was like they were sitting in a warehouse for years. I do not know how they even decided to ship ~$200.00 shoes in this shape?
On the positive side, the return procedure went very smoothly. Of course I did lose >10% of the price for handling and 2x shipping."
