OE March Brown Nymph

When the march brown hatch is on, keep a few OE March Brown Nymphs in your box to fool those subsurface eaters. Works perfectly as a dropper beneath a march brown dry. In natural. Sizes: 10, 14.

First of the season on this fly,

"After striking out for the last few weeks the temps finally began to rise. I headed out to a local river and tried many different flies. I watched a guy upstream from me pull a nice fish out, I saw him later in the day and ask what he was fishing with. He replied a green march brown. So I tossed one of these on having never fished one. I picked up 2 very nice browns on it. Gotta tie up my own imitation now! I agree with one of the other views about the questionable durability but I haven't fished it enough to truly test it."

"Great pattern on the lower Provo. Used a dropper off this Brown Nymph and had three hits in the first four casts. Had a little trouble threading the line because of location of eyelet tucked down, but assume this helped it look most natural. Results are great. Worth the extra work to tie it on. Buying more!"

Disappointment,

"Love Orvis and great purchases before this fly-- it is a great fly pattern and trout love it; but you only catch one per fly! It falls apart with one catch. The price I paid I think It should have lasted longer. I bought four and caught three fish about 12 to 14 inchs and lost a fish and was out of these flies. Good pattern bad quality.."
