"This is exactly the dress I wanted and received. It is just below the knee, I wouldn't have minded if it had been a few inches longer, but this works. It will serve as a durable, light-weight, go everywhere (maybe not the opera) dress. It is going to Berlin with me this summer."

"I have been searching for a long-sleeved denim dress for months and thought this would be the one. But I have a similar story to another reviewer. The Large is too narrow in bust and midriff. Hesitated purchasing X-Large because of shoulders and hips (small hips).
All I needed was an extra 1 - 2 inches and it would have been perfect. Perhaps you should reformulate your Large measurements to conform to industry standards. Don't give up on this dress. A nice denim dress is necessary for one's wardrobe!"

"This dress was disappointing in several regards. Unless you are pencil thin it won't drape properly and the fabric was much lighter than I expected. Disappointing."

"I needed a denim dress badly and this was the perfect one until I tried it on. The "large" was too tight across the chest ( the buttons pulled). So I ordered the XL. But as usual, the XL was too big all over except for chest. Fit across chest but shoulders hung down too low and it was way too big in the waist and hips. I find this EVERY TIME I BUY AN ORVIS DRESS WITH BUTTONS DOWN THE FRONT."
