Kerrigan Shorebirds

Artist Kevin J. Kerrigan is a nationally renowned decoy carver who studied under the late Ralph Morrell, distinguished Zoologist Emeritus at the Peabody Museum in New Haven, Connecticut. Kerrigan and Morrell subsequently collaborated on many projects that included detail paintings for the Peabody Museum, the Museum of Natural History, and the Smithsonian Institute. An avid sportsman and naturalist, Kevin's unfaltering sense of accuracy and aestheticism are on display with these lovely shorebird carvings. Yellowlegs and black-bellied plover. Made in USA.

"When I discovered these shore birds were on sale, I jumped at the opportunity to own an original work by artist Kerrigan, a renowned wildlife carver. The package was carefully wrapped to protect and ensure its safe arrival. I am delighted by the detail and artistry. We have displayed the "yellow legged shore bird" in a prominent place on our mantel. ."
