Conestoga Five-Pocket Jeans

Sewn from heavyweight 13-oz. pure cotton canvas-the very same fabric that covered the wagons that carried America westward in the 19th century-these jeans are tough enough to stand up to all your transcontinental adventures. Rugged details abound in these Kentucky-made pants, including ½"-wide belt loops and broken-in-twill interior waistband lining. Leather rear waistband patch. Cut-brass zipper and Orvis rivets for long wear. In natural. Pure cotton. Washable. Made in USA. Even waist sizes: 32-44; 32" inseam.

"My wife told me that you can't wear white after Labor Day. I disagree, these jeans are awesome.
Fit is spot on. The fabric is more than what I expected. I like the fact that the jeans are sturdy.
You're going to love these jeans."

"The fit was perfect, and the styling is classic. Nice enough to wear out on the weekends, and sturdy enough to work around the house."

bad purchase,

"I would not call these "jeans" as the description says. They are CANVAS and they will stand up in the corner by themselves. Would normally be used as stiff work pants but are almost white so expect them to get really dirty."

"Very good quality canvas cloth in a much admired Cream colour. However, please note: with waist sizing, jeans are 'cut generously', one inch wider than size ordered."

poor fit/quality,
August 16, 2012
By: Rumplestiltzskin
from Rocheport, Missouri
"Cut too long in legs by an inch. Also, overall cut is like dress trousers and not jeans. Wear them like jeans and too long in the crotch and baggy in the butt, Wear them like dress trousers and you just look goofy. Heavy cotton is of lower grade as I washed them 3 times to soften them up and it just never happened and should have. Also, after 2nd washing, threads around seams started coming out."

Size not quite right,

By: hill2
"The material is similar to a heavy quality jean material. Fit is good except for length....they are slightly longer than the stipulated length which required me to have them altered."

Overpriced Product,
November 1, 2011
By: SlickOne
from Colorado Springs, CO
"These pants are basically a higher priced version of traditional painters pants. The fabric weight is generally heavier than most painters pants, but doesn't justify the higher cost. The sizing and fit is traditional and consistent with all Orvis products, but several manufacturers of painters pants offer more options for sizes."
