Gokey® Heritage Duffle
We found this classic canvas and leather duffle bag in the extensive archives at Gokey's Tipton, Missouri headquarters. Each time-tested design is crafted in the USA from heavyweight 18-oz. pure cotton canvas, paired with full-grain American-tanned leather. Abrasion-resistant nylon edge binding. Removable shoulder strap and luggage tag included. Solid-brass hardware. Canvas and leather duffle bag in olive. Duffle: 12"H x 25"W x 12½"D; 3,750 cu. in. Pure cotton canvas, genuine leather, and nylon. Tipton, Missouri, USA.

"This Gokey bag is well worth the money - it is very ruggedly made and will last forever (with the exception of the leather loops where the shoulder strap attaches to the bag - this seems potentially weak). It is a perfect size, carrying plenty of gear without becoming too heavy to lift. I also like that the zipper can be locked - this was a critical feature for me, as this means the bag can be checked in safely when flying. And of course the main attraction - it looks very cool!"

"Purchased this bag to take on a photo safari in South Africa. The bag was delivered in a very timely fashion. Is well constructed and a good value. This bag along with all others in the upper tier Orvis line lack a function zipper arrangement. I prefer a u shaped zipper instead of a straight zipper as this bag has. It makes it difficult to pack, unpack and use."

"The color combination is excellent, It is well made and very sturdy. It is noticeable missing an inside pocket and would benefit from an outside ticket pouch of some type. When full the bag is too large for carry on luggage. It has a very sturdy zip and really doesn't need the buckle and straps other than for decorative purposes. This is fine for a long weekend albeit quite heavy when full."

"In full use. For added convenience: right hand end horizontal zipper for reach in pocket (full end). Above handle L/R leather strap patch would be plus for attaching rod tube. Remember duffle from old Gokey catalog. Good Job!"

"This is a beautiful bag, and seems to be heirloom quality. I bought several for my groomsmen gifts. The only thing that I noticed that could be a potential weak point in the design is where the strap connects to the bag... the strap is great, the metal strap ring is great, but the piece of leather that connects the strap ring to the body of the bag seems way too thin. It makes me worry that a fully loaded bag could snap that leather loop. Other than that, this bag is fantastic. Big zippers, thick leather bottom, leather bag tag, protective flap on top. I would recommend seeing it in person- you won't be disappointed!"

"I just received my Gokey Heritage Duffle today from the brown truck. For 198.00 I didn't expect this to be the top notch quality that it most certainly is. The leather is thicker than I expected also, it just says quality through out the bag. I have another Duluth duffle canvas bag that is nice, but not the quality that this bag is. Yes its a little bit more than the Duluth be way cheaper than their bag like this one that's leather/canvas. Needless to say I'm very pleased with the purchase, and you won't find another like it for this price."

"Spendy but Classy Gear.
Gokey user for 30 plus years and never disappointed.
I use many duffle type bags most tactical in nature but the Heritage Duffel looks tough and is good looking. Covers the basic need and function and should look better with wear."

"This is a versatile, well constructed bag. The contents are easy to access and it is big enough to hold whatever you need but doesn't feel bulky. I carry this with my battenkill backpack on business trips and them unpack it and reload with my hunting gear for the weekend. Love it."

"I received the duffel bag in a long flat box and was thinking "great this is not want I am wanting". But after opening the box and checking out the duffel bag, I was really impressed by the quality of the craftsmanship.
