"I loved this hat so well I got all 3 colors - winter white, brown and black. It's warm and it goes beautifully with my fake fur coats. Also it comes in 2 sizes so I was able to order the smaller one. So often 'one size fits all' are too big for me. ."

"This hat is perfect for Chicago weather. It is well worth the price. I just wore it in 27 degree, windy weather and my head was warm and the fit was perfect. It was extreemly comfortable and already I received a complement wearing it my first day. It looks just like the photo and the quality is great. I got it in white, but when I received it, I loved it so much that I wanted it in black also, but they all were gone. I hope they restock this excellent hat!"

"I purchased this hat as a gift for my mother and when she received it she loved it! She wanted to replace her previous "Dr Zhivago hat" and this one fit the bill nicely.

She is a rather small woman and a little worried that the M size (smallest one available) would be too big. When she received it she said it fit quite well... so don't let that dissuade you from this hat."

"We got the Winter White color and found it to be good quality and keeps the head warm. It works well for Mrs. Claus. However, they describe the large sized hat as a L(7⅞) but found it to be more like a size 7⅝. Still a large size, and it worked for us, but might be important to those with larger heads."

Not for large heads with hair,

"Very disappointing. I would only recommend it to people with smaller heads or to people who only want the appearance of warmth and who don't require the real thing. I wanted this beautiful hat for wearing outside while driving a horse and wagon in costume in COLD weather. I was thrilled that a women's hat actually came in a large size since OSFA is silly and not true. However, this hat was not nearly as plush as the catalog picture. I have a large head and a lot of hair. This hat did not have enough room in the crown to allow the hat to come down low enough to cover the ears at all--cold winds whistling into ears is painful. Without that space, the hat tended to pop up and off, even though it was big enough around."

"It can be difficult to find a hat that both looks fairly dressy and (mostly) covers the ears. For me, this hat in the large size is the answer, if I adjust it to be worn in cloche rather than Russian fashion. It's still flattering--the thick, deep, lovely-to-touch fabric and the substantial brim indeed provide an elegant frame for the face. I'm tempted to order another in rhe remaining color."
