BEST RUBY SHIRT I'VE EVER BOUGHT,
February 2, 2013
By: Tomray
"I have two rugby shirts, but a different brand. I wanted to try this one out from orvis, since I always go for branded shirts. I wore it twice. It was warm and cozy and my wife and kids liked the color and distressed, broken-in look . I was also wondering if orvis would go for different colors in the same style."

a unique rugby!,
January 25, 2013
By: ProfessorM
from Gunnison, CO
"I'm a big fan of rugby shirts, and have quite a collection. When I saw this one in the catalog, I realized that I had never seen one like it before. It has a loose fit so that it will accommodate a turtle-neck or even another collared shirt under it. It's more of a medium weight than a light-weight, but very soft, so it could be worn in place of a light jacket or sweater. It definitely comes with a weathered, broken-in look. Definitely a great product."

"i ORDERED THIS FOR MY HUSBAND FOR CHRISTMAS AND EVEN THOUGH i KNEW IT WAS ON BACK ORDER AND WOULD NOT BE REC'D ON TIME, I STILL KEPT THE ORDER IN AND IT ARRIVED JUST LAST WEEK. HE ABSOLUTELY LOVES IT AND SO DO I. SO GLAD WE WAITED FOR IT. IT IS A LIGHT WEIGHT SHIRT (COMPARING IT TO A SWEATSHIRT TYPE) AND MY HUSBAND SAID IT'S PERFECT FOR SPRING, SUMMER AND GOLFING. I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT!"

Five Stars Plus a Bit More,

"Unquestionably five stars all round. I ordered this top several weeks before it was in stock and it was definitely worth the wait. I ordered a Size L and it fits fine, if you are more than an average Size L I would recommend ordering a size bigger."

"Good insulation with a collar to turn up when required. Nice styling. I'd give it an additional star of it came in a wicking/quick-dry material."

Distinctive rugby,
October 15, 2012
By: universityadmin

"I am wearing this shirt as I write this review. It looks great with khaki pants and a turtleneck. The colors are rich and the detail is what makes this distinctive. The collar is unusual and the cord closure adds character. True to size although a little too full around the waist for those who are trim.
I like this for fall casual wear. It is substantial but not overly heavy for a rugby.

Size Control,
September 25, 2012
By: LBS10913

"It would be nice if a (large) size 42 to 44 was accurate. I wear a size 42 and it left no room for shrinkage. I gave it to my wife. She loves it!"

Who needs to play Rugby?,

By: Jakes

"Wear this and they'll know you're an athlete -- or, at least assume as much. I bought it for the colors and very impressed with the weight, styling and craftsmanship. Can't wait for the coolness of Autumn when I can finally wear it."
