"I flip thro' your catalog quickly 'cause there are so few petite sizes. More would improve my needs.....I think I have voiced this before, in a critique. If I'm WILD about something, I might order the L size, & hem it up.....but that's not often. But I did LOVE these jeans 'cause they have a tummy flattner, &, tho' a little long, are OK. That's why I ordered 2 pair."

"I purchased these denim pants with this particular waistband because I'm recovering from back surgery and have 2 large and tender incisions in the area of my low back.
Though one reviewer had to up a size, my pants are humongous, drag on the ground (I'm 5'5"), the leg width is extremely wide, and the color is lighter than expected per the catalog photo. They are not at all stylish.
I will not wear these out in public, but perhaps while doing garden work or working in the basement."

"These pants were described as being relaxed fit and available in petite sizes. I ordered the petite medium which should have fit easily...but they were too tight in my thighs, too short in the back rise and the inseam was too long for me, I would have needed to pay to have them shortened if they had fit. Back they went. I think that the price is high for the quality that I received, and there is no break for the shipping."

"I am very pleased with the denim slacks I received. They fit perfectly and best of all, did not need to be shortened at the hem! I am 5'2" and generally still need to have a seamstress shorten the hems on the petite slacks I order. So it was a pleasant surprise to find that my Orvis slacks fit so perfectly!"

"I really wanted a pair of knit elastic waist jeans, and these were the only ones i could find, so i bought a pair size XL and L. The extra large was too loose and big, but the L seemed to fit perfectly out of the package. I washed them, and then they shrunk a small amount, but now they feel more snug than i would prefer. Now i wonder what the XL would feel like if i had washed them. I am 5'5 and the inseam was perfect, and i liked the wide legs, but i would have liked a little more fitted look around the butt and thighs."
