"I had to return this sweater because it was too small to wear over a blouse and it was also pretty short. Usually Orvis' tops run big, so I now order a small, but this one did not work out for me."

"I ordered a medium because it was labeled cotton and I thought it would stretch out and run bigger, but I am returning the medium and ordered a large which I have received and that fits much better."

"I really like the look and feel of this sweater. It looks like a heavy sweater but it is not. It has the hand applique and stitchery that makes it look nordic but it feels light when you wear it. Therefore, it is delightful to wear.

"I think it is an attractive sweater and I have received some compliments on it. Howeve...I am disappointed in the sizing - for a medium it is a bit skimpy, tho it does fit. The zipper doesn't work! I was hoping it would be a bit heavier weight-wise. I also wish it had some of the embroidery on the back, too. Price was a bit high for the product."

"The embroidery on this sweater is beautiful. My only concern is that the fabric is ramie and cotton. Other sweaters I have gotten that are made with this blend tend to pill. Here's hoping that Orvis' quality is better than others."

"The looks of product were as they appear on site. Problem is that the zipper was either broke, or very weak. Would NOT zip easily. It would only caught once out of four attempts."

"a beautiful sweater with handsome embroidered details and lovely colors. It's fit is superb with princess seams. Very versatile. I bought it for my 91 year old moher's birthday and she has worn it dressed up and down with turtlenecks and more dressy black shells. Truly classy for a classy lady!"

"I liked the colors and detail of this embroidered sweater, but was disappointed when I tried it on. I ordered a small, but the bottom of the sweater was very wide and loose. It also fell too short on my waist. I did return the sweater."

"Beautiful sweater that was a gift for my wife. She says it reminds her of sweaters she saw while in Switzerland and loves the embellishments. Very nice quality zipper. The sleeves are long so she will have to push up, hem or cuff. She also said she would prefer a longer length. She is short and it is still only waist-length on her, but a beautiful, feminine sweater."
