No Nonsense Guide to Fly Fishing Utah

Every fly angler has heard of the famed Green River, but the rest of Utah yields extraordinary, un-crowded, and little known fishing. Waters flow through alpine regions, desert, and canyons. Author Steve Schmidt, outfitter and owner of Western Rivers Fly Shop in Salt Lake City has explored these waters for over 29 years. He explains where to go and how to fish some of the most unique and diverse waters in the west: there's something for everybody, fly fishing mountain streams and lakes, tail waters, bass waters and reservoirs. Lots of detailed maps show anglers how to get around and where to fish. Fly fishing guidebook for Utah offers two colors inside with charts, illustrations, fishing terms, and knots. 80 pages, 25 maps.

The Best Places to fish in Utah,
August 29, 2014
By: Anster

"If you just want to hit the best places to fish in Utah then this book is perfect. Even though it is thinner than the big fat dictionary sized books out there, it has the need to know info - like which sections are best to focus on. Fishing your way through this book stream by stream will put you on beautiful water and into great fish. Skip all of the marginal water and start with the best. It will still take you years to fish it all."
