"....worth every penny. Fantastic quality. Soft feel, heavy weight and fit and drape excellent. The contrast detail of the pocket really sets them off. My husband is thrilled with them and I love to see him in them, they look so good."

"Over the years I've bought many pairs of cords but these heavyweights from Orvis are by far the best. They will be ideal for winter wear or colder spring/autumn days.
At this price point maybe I'd expect perfection so perhaps I can be a touch critical and just mention that the back pocket could be a touch deeper and that the cinammon colour is a shade bright.
However, these are minor criticisms and overall I'm delighted with my purchase !!"

"These are well made, excellent trousers. My only grumble is that the colour range has become all dark and boring. What happened to red and tangerine? And yellow would be good. Some of my friends even like pink best.

"I have been looking for warm and heavy winter pants that are also suitable for office work ever since I lived in Scotland 30 years ago. I have not seen anything that matched the quality I wanted until these pants. I love the look of the leather details, but they come at a price in the care instructions: Machine wash cold and line dry only. If I did not need to be careful washing and drying, would be five stars."

"This is my second pair of these pants. They are comfortable, warm and wear like they were made of titanium. They are true to size. I had them cuffed, which I think looks better on heavy cords. The leather trim looks great but also has another function that I had not considered. They keep things in the pockets from sliding out. They can be dressed up or down, looking equally as nice with a sport coat or work wear. I would recommend these pants highly."

"While the pants fit well and the quality generally met my expectations, the pants arrived with a defect in the material on the front left leg. The defect was either in the weave or an oil mark. The defect was near the groin and meandered down to the top of the knee. I returned the pants to the local Orvis store."

"the corduroy material used is obviously of a very good quality
completely spoiled by an inside button that is far to small for it's purpose, a cheap metal fastener and a cheap zip fastener.
I was very disappointed with these trousers and considering the high cost makes the whole experience not a happy one!"
