Buffalo Nickel Belt
A pair of genuine buffalo nickels distinguishes this handsome brown leather belt. Worn from years of handling, one nickel displays the standing buffalo; the other showcases the Native American silhouette. The buffalo nickel, designed by James Earle Fraser, was introduced in 1913. Fraser used three different Native Americans as models and based the buffalo on Black Diamond, who lived in the New York City Zoo. Braided inlays. Engraved silver buckle. Rawhide stitching. Men's leather belt in brown. 1¼" strap width tapers to 1". ImportedMen's even waist belt sizes: 32-46. Order one size larger than pants size.

"In terms of appearance, I liked the belt very much. Yet, the leather did not come finished and the strap portion actually split--similar to if one crushed and bent a pop can in the middle, and then articuilated it back and forth until it broke. The only thing that's holding it together is an exterior skin. I did not wear it constantly and for the money, it should have worn better."

"The Buffalo Nickel Belt is an excellent buy and handsome belt. However, we owned one from a previous purchase and it had more buffalo nickels on it. In between each embroidered part there was a buffalo nickel. We purchased the belt for a coin collector and more buffalo nickels on it would have been even better."
