We chose our favorite lightweight prewashed, pure cotton denim for this wonderfully comfortable robe. Perfect for lounging, it has enough coverage to wear on a trip to the mailbox for the morning newspaper or while sipping coffee on the porch. Cuffs, inner collar, and placket are faced with soft cotton chambray. Front patch pockets. In dark indigo. Pure cotton. Washable. Imported.Sizes S(6-8), M(10-12), L(14-16), XL(18-20); about 49" long.

"This great robe doubles as a house coat. I find it perfect for working around my apartment and its modest enough for me to go to the door in it without looking as though I'm in night clothes. The denim is soft and very comfortable. Its very good looking."

"Fabulous robe that could be worn as a dress, if one wanted to. I found the medium to be rather wide in the shoulders, but for a robe, I love the roominess and decency, especially for summer.
I washed it in hot water but it did not shrink much. I threw it in the drier and the robe came out wrinkle free!
I recommend this robe highly!"

"This is my second Vintage Denim Robe. It runs large so a small works well instead of my usual medium. When my first Orvis robe bit the dust, I tried a similar product from another company. It was half the price, but less than half the quality - no money saved there!"

"This robe caught my eye quite awhile ago - but just wasn't sure about a denim robe. Wouldn't it be stiff like my jeans? I love denim but just couldn't see the comfort of a denim robe. I am soooo glad I took a chance. I love it. It's soft, washed beautifully, and fits loose enough to be comfy but doesn't look like a granny dress. I'm thinking of ordering a second one just in case they discontinue it."

"I have admired this Vintage Denim Robe in the Orvis catalogue for a year or two. I finally placed my order. It arrived a few days ago. I am thrilled with the soft, firm texture of the fabric. It is roomy and comfortable with sleeves wide enough to leave long or rolled up. It is a perfect weight for any time of the year. I love it!"

"I finally ordered the Vintage Denim Robe, after admiring it for a long time.My concern was that it did not come in petite sizes. Now that I am wearing it, it seems perfect even on my petite body. I like the long length -the hem ends at my ankles (I am 5 feet tall).
The fabric is very soft, the pockets are roomy, the buttons are nice and the length keeps me warm. And it is perfect to wear out to the mailbox for the morning paper! I also wear it over my day clothes when my house is too chilly and it is perfect for that.
The sleeves are too long for me as a petite, but I fold them back once and make a nice looking cuff

I think the sizes run pretty true as I would take a petite XL and the size I ordered was a Misses" XL and it fits nicely and comfortably.

"This robe is almost perfect. It's long, has pockets, looks simply elegant (no frilly stuff) and, best of all, is made of soft lightweight denim. I also like the fact that it has buttons instead of a sash. My only suggestion would be to change the buttons from metal to some other material, thus making the robe even lighter and less "clunky.""

"Denim is my favorite fabric, I thought I'd have to sew my own robe to have exactly what I wanted but then I happened upon this one. It's exactly what I wanted; it does run big so order down one size from what you think you'll need. A little big and loose is just fine though, lots of room to curl up. It's light weight yet not flimsy, gives good coverage, washes and dries like a dream. I do iron it but only because I like to iron. I love having buttons instead of having a belt which keeps coming untied or lost."

"First, let me say that I have this robe and have enjoyed it for over 8 years. The photo of the product in the catalogue has not changed since I bought mine. What I received however was not the same robe. 1) the buttons are dark and not the silver tone shown; 2) there is no contrast fabric at the color and fold back areas of the cuff. I liked the two pockets - good idea. The denim is more or less the same. The shorter sleeve is also a good idea, since my sleeves are always rolled back. But, I really love my shinier, lighter buttons, and the contrast fabic is also a plus. I will keep wearing my old robe and hope they may adopt the old buttons and contrast fabric again. Returning the robe. If you are looking for a wearable denim robe, this is a good choice however despite my own preferences. If my old was not still wearable, I might have re-considered and even swapped out buttons."

"I've looked at this for several years and thought it was overpriced but bought it on sale recently. It's still overpriced. Wanted something I could answer the front door in. This will work but would prefer the pockets to be side pockets as having them in the front makes it look a bit frumpy. I need a petite; small runs large and long. It didn't shrink when washed and dried. I'm 5'2" and it's just above the ankle so will have to shorten it. Sleeves ok as can roll them up, if needed."
