"I ordered this in stone which could have been more opaque. But mainly just too small. Didn't care for them enough a size large which I believe would have been too large. Perhaps if it fits you it would fine."

"These aren't my "skinny" jeans, they're my wear at home every day of the week because they're good looking and comfortable jeans. Just received my second pair as my original has been relegated to painting and yard work. Absolutely love these pants. Superb quality and they didn't cost $150!"

"I generally love the Vintage Denim Drawstring Pants. I've worn them for several years and reorder more when a current pair wears out. These black jeans have a problem, though. They fit fine (or will when I hem them) but despite repeated washings, I can't get rid of the smell. They smell sort of like rubber. I got two other pairs in the same order, one stone and the other antique indigo. Those are both fine. It's just the black ones that have this smell."

"for $80.00 jeans, I expected more. The only thing I can find to like is the length.
The pockets are worse than nothing, so shallow, everything falls out. They wrinkle badly, even for cotton. Stringy.

"Insufficient information for selecting sizes for ladies jeans. There should be numerical sizes. I am of average build; therefore, I ordered a medium. The jeans I recieved were huge! I had to return them with no information available for reordering.
I recommend an evaluation of your current sizing system for ladies' jeans. I think it would be helpful for all. Thanks!"

"Disapointed in the fact that the sizing (for some reason) was wrong...Always order and wear the Indigo and for years have been very happy with quality and size (fit)...I did order the khaki color both in XL and L and XL which I usually wear was extremely big and L was too small...Returned both to the store and will have to try another style for a khaki color... Even tho this particular pair didn't work would still order the Indigo color..."

"I purchased these pants in the light blue denim after reading other reviews. I took to heart the reviews that said the pants were to bit and ordered a medium even though I usually use a large. I am 5'8'' and weigh about 170lbs. The hips are fine, but I have lost my waist line. I am glad I ordered the medium. The weight of the denim is fine. The in-seam is great. However, the rise is about an inch and a half too long. The waist of the pants sits well above my natural waist. If I have anything heavy in the pockets, they slowly creep down. I kept them because I needed denim pants by a certain deadline. But, I will not be purchasing another pair. I am so disappointed. I felt I could count on Orvis to have a good sport pant for someone my size."

"The casual pants are a quality mid-weight denim quite suitable for year round wear in the south. They run big and long. I followed the suggestion in the reviews, bought one size smaller than usual and received a perfect fit; though they had to be shortened and hemmed as with all my pant purchases. I bought the white and the stone color and look forward to wearing them for several seasons"
