Pleated Vintage Denim™ Skirt
As basic as chinos, these jean skirts come in cotton denim to wear any season. Our long jean skirts are styled to be easy and flared, with front zipper, front pleats, and quarter-top pockets. Set-in waistband with elasticized back, belt loops. Washable. Imported.Regular sizes: 6-20; about 34½" long. Petite sizes: 4-16; about 32½" long.

"I love these skirts - I have bought at least one a year over a number of years. They are easy to wear, having an elasticated back waist, and plenty of material. They are long, if that is what you like. They have pockets. Being denim, there are good for cooler or windy days but not so heavy that you wouldn't touch them on a hot day.
When Orvis didn't sell them last year, I was upset. So thrilled to see them back I bought a black and stone one this year!"

"I needed a new denim skirt, because my favourite of 10 years had worn out. This skirt, which fits perfectly, is well made, with deep pockets. It looks smart, and it goes with everything. I pair it with a denim vest that I also bought from Orvis. Happy Face!"

"I own several of these for work. I have it in black (perfect) and the oyster color. My only complaint is, I wish it came in Olive, maybe Brown. My favorite skirt. It goes anyway you wish. Great travel skirt.

"It's so hard to find a longer skirt with a feminine cut. This full skirt is just the ticket. The fact that it has pockets makes it extra special. I'm able to wear the blue on casual Fridays and wear the black during the week."

"I ordered two of these skirts. I measured my waist & went by the Orvis size chart when they finally arrived they were about 1.5 - 2 inches bigger than my waist. I had to re-order & the who;e process took 2 & 1/2 weeks."

"Made well. Finished well. Hem has bias tape; seams are folded and hem-stitched and there are no loose threads. Zipper is well-sewn and button is secure. Should wear well and last a long time."

"The skirt was too full and too long. I felt as if I were wearing a tent. It also runs big. The size 4 petite was more like a 6 or 8 regular. It certainly won't look good on petite frames."

"I have only one wee complaint about this skirt. It runs waay too big. I travelled to Mexico in my size 10 a few years ago, wore it out and replaced it with a size 8. I should have sent the 8 back, but didn't and too much time went by. This one is a 6 petite and fits quite well; could be a little snugger in the waist, but I think a 4 petite would be too tight. And . . . the absolute smallest size you can get is indeed a 4 petite. I am 5'7" tall, weigh 120 pounds -- not short, not skinny. What's with these sizes?
Of course I'm complaining so much because I love the skirt and would like to have more of them. It's perfect for travel, never wrinkles, can be dressed up or down, comfortable in all situations. Goes great with sandals, boots, or whatever. Can be worn in any sort of weather (except super hot).
Oh, and I wish this skirt were available more often. Sometimes it simply disappears from the website."

"I've been wearing my dark blue skirt for almost a dozen years and it is still my grab and go favorite when I go to work. It is comfortable with the elastic waistline, and the pockets are roomy and hold everything I need. It has held up wash after wash and is as comfortable now as it was when it was new. The length is good for boots or low shoes--I've worn this one out so I'm ordering a new one!"

"I already had a light blue, dark blue and sand skirt like the black one I just ordered. They wear beautifully, comfortably and last forever. The only complaint I MAY have is that black denim does not dye as well as other colors so fading MAY be a problem. If so, I know from experience that Orvis will take care of this should it occur."
