"This is my second pair of Foothills Cargo Pants. I have both colors. They are great. I prefer the darker color, but both look good. The cut is ample for me and provides the comfort and look I prefer. The material is soft and always looks good. With plenty of pockets, most with zippers, provide secure and ample room for all the stuff I choose to carry."

"I was told they were going to be hemmed and they were not. Now I have to spend extra to do that. I would have returned them but I leave for a trip and I need them. Pants are okay but a little heavy weight and very baggy. I'll know more after I get back."

"Ordered a pair. Look fairly nice, but I am returning, as I was hoping - as with the Zambezi Twill 14-pocket cargo pants that I love and Orvis has discontinued - that they had cargo pockets on both thighs. From the description I thought they did. But no, both the zippered pocket AND the big cargo pocket are both on the same thigh. I like to keep my cellphone in one cargo pocket and my wallet and pocketknife in the other... and can't do that with these pants. But as long as you don't mind the baggy fit and having only a one-thigh cargo pocket, these may rate higher with you."

"The pants appear well-made, but I object to the baggy fit. I don't understand why we can't have technical/outdoor pants that feature both cargo pockets AND a regular fit. All the fabric billowing around my legs is just more cloth to catch on branches."

"This was a gift for my husband who is very particular about his clothing.
He actually loved the pants and was pleased with how they fit and he liked the color. These pants were backordered from October, but were well worth the wait! Instead of being an anniversary gift, they were a Christmas gift!"

"Concept for travel pants is great, execution needs to be reconsidered. Pocket on left leg is heavy without anything in it and pulls on the leg. Fit also need to be redone, seat and legs are baggy. I returned without tailoring as the cost of taking in the seat, crouch and legs was about 1/2 of what I paid for the pants. Unfortunately, reviews on their other pants are not very good, someone should take a look at the quality, fit and finish... wore a pair of Levi's on the trip I planned to use these pants and have no regrets."

"I love these cargo pants! I enjoyed my first pair so much that I ordered two additional pairs. They are very comfortable. I travel a lot, and I like the security of the pockets with the zippers. I have received many compliments about my cargo pants, and people want to know where I bought them. I would have given these pants a rating of 5, but I had to return a couple of pairs because of some small flaws in the stitching. Returning them was a breeze. Orvis sent out replacement pairs immediately. If Orvis carried these cargo pants in grey, I would buy another pair."

"i have a green pair and they are great.the khaki pair, just bought should be great also but are a little over one half inch smaller in waist.i measured 3 times and had tailor measure.maybe trying to save money but had to move button."

"I'm a Willis&Geiger man so it's hard to impress me with construction and functionality but these pants do. I wear them geocaching in the Mojave Desert, far from where my Jeep gets parked. I like the fact that I can carry car keys and wallet in a zippered pocket and not worry about losing them; I like that I can carry all kinds of gear that I need out in the field; GPS is always easy to reach. The weight is perfect for my desert exploration. Am buying another pair."
