Crafted from a superior oil-tanned leather handsomely contrasted with fine beige topstitching detail. Full-grain leather lining and insole for comfort. Rugged Vibram® Gumlite sole provides traction. Leather loafers in tan. Imported.Whole and half sizes 7-12, 13. Please note: Due to small sizing, we recommend ordering one size up from your normal size. If your feet are narrow in width, order one half-size up from your normal size.

"Most comfortable shoe I own. Was disappointed that color in catalogue was different than actual color of shoe. The shoe was much lighter that shown in catalogue and I wouldn't have ordered if the color had been accurate, but the shoe was so comfortable that I kept it anyway."

"The craftsmanship of the shoe seemed very nice. The thick soles looked comfortable. However, my wife and daughter told me I looked like I was wearing clunky houseshoes. I returned them."

"My wife bought these for me as a Christmas gift. One of the nicest looking shoes I have ever had and appear extremely well built. However I wear a wide size and they were way too tight. Returned them for 1/2 size larger and the width was OK but then they were too long. Orvis return policy is great so not a problem, but it is a shame because I would have liked to keep them and the price is reasonable.

"I have ordered this product three times and each time the shoes have come with obvious imperfections in the leather. I probably would have kept them except that the flaws were very visible on the toe. I will not be ordering them again."

"The loafers were quite satisfactory except that they didn't fit well - too small, although the eight and a half size usually fits. We had to return them a few weeks' ago. They were never actually worn. I think it best if we try a different shoe in due course but meanwhile perhaps you would credit our Visa account. Loafers were returned to the address indicated for Canadian returns.

"These are perhaps the most beautiful men's shoe I have ever seen. Unfortunaely, they only come in medium width, which did not fit my husband's foot. I am hoping that they will, at some point, come in wide, because they truly are a well made, attractive shoe."

"It's a shame it doesn't come in varying widths. It was just too tight across the instep. Had the shoes fit, I would be a happy man, but they were only offered in one width, and that was too narrow."

"My order arrived promptly. I ordered my exact size (12) - they fit snuggly and are very comfortable. I have read a number of reviews regarding the sizing and color: I am happy with the fit (I don't like a loose fitting loafer) and they are definitely tan.
These are good looking and comfortable shoes and I highly recommend them."

"Clearly a shoe with quality and craftsmanship, I looked forwartd to wearing them as I had done with my Vibram lugged Cole Haan Kilties.
However the shoes are smaller than indicated sizes. A 13 all my life, it didn't fit despite stretching by cobbler. Relucantly gave them away as I had worn them a few times."

"I've owned a couple of pairs of these shoes and they continue to be my favorite all-around shoe. Very sharp styling, and very comfy with or without socks (the leather lining is extremely luxurious). For those who complain about the tassles coming untied - just double knot them! It looks better that way anyway. Buy true size and they should work fine. I think the distinctive color is what really makes this shoe. It's lighter tan that looks great with anything. Please dont ever quit carrying this shoe ... absolutely fantastic..."

"Very good quality-classic design-great for casual or more dress up occasions. The only issue is the color of the leather, it's rather unconventional. It would also be recommended for the manufacturer to enclose instructions on how to clean or treat this leather. Aside from the good product is the wonderful service and customer support when making purchases from Orvis."

"Ordered my normal size and the shoe fit well. Did not really like the tan color for year round wear and they looked strange with khakis. I purchased at our local shoe shop a bottle of light brown Fiebing's Leather Dye. Changed the color to a medium brown with a reddish tone, easy to apply. Plan on spraying a water resistant spray which will darken them a little, great shoe, very comfortable and light weight. Plan on wearing for traveling Europe. Bought because the good reviews on Orvis."

"For me, a half size up was definitely the way to go. (Thanks to others who have reviewed this product!) I was worried about my heels slipping out, as it does with many slip-ons I have tried. This one was perfect after wearing the shoes for about an hour around the house. The workmanship is excellent, and I think it contributes significantly to the comfort of the shoes."
