"The shirt is very nice and washes well, but between Orvis cutting down on sizes and the darts, order up one size. This shirt runs very small. Also, the plaid is not as distinct as it might be."

"I really liked this shirt. Too bad that it was made with so many darts. This caused the shirt to be too tight. If you make it with darts, you need to label it FITTED! Instead of sending it back, I took out all the darts, and it now fits great. However for this price, I shouldn't have needed to make my own adjustments."

"I was very excited about this shirt - wrinkle free, Black Watch, nice fit - what's not to love? Turns out I was very disappointed to find out that the plaid pattern is not matched on the side seams - and it sticks out like a sore thumb. When not wearing a sweater or a vest over it, the mismatched pattern of the plaid (the lighter colors) really sticks out. Contemplating returning the shirt. I would expect this lack of detail in an inexpensive shirt but not one from Orvis."

"I generally like the shirt. Good material. Nice cut through the torso. It could have used a button down collar, which would have smartened the structure up a bit. I would like Orvis to offer more man-tailored shirts for women. As a born Prep, I find myself envying those crisp-looking items in their Men's department."

"I usually love Orvis shirts, and I like the pattern and fit of this one, but the fabric is not the smooth silky fabric that I expected, but more scratchy. I am still keeping the shirt (wearing it now) and hope future cotton shirts of all kinds revert to previous silkiness."

"I like Black Watch plaid a lot, so when I saw your shirt in this plaid, I had to order it. I have only one other wrinkle-free shirt from Orvis, ordered several years ago, but it still looks like new. They fit great, and truly need only a quick pressing to look good. Since I like these shirts so much, I'll continue to check on and order them in the future."
