"I was looking for a denim pant without the classic jeans styling and these fit the bill. They are stylish and made with a substantial denim. I can go shopping or gardening and be comfortable in these pants.
The only con would be the inside cargo pocket seam feels bulky against my leg after washing. It softens a bit after wear but I wish is wasn't there at all. If I thought I could remove the entire pocket without leaving a hole in the leg I would do so. Fortunately it is not a deal breaker."

"Lightweight, high quality jeans. Love the weight for travel. Packs easily.
Only drawback is length - I had to cut 4 " off and then hem the jeans myself. I wish Orvis would hem them for me."

"good fit except length and look as if they will wear well. I had to have several inches off the leg length and I'm not particularly short - but rather that than too short. I tested for shinkage before shortening and there seemed to be none."

"I ordered a pair of these in Size 6. Orvis sizes are usually generous and I've always bought SP which have been perfect. Size 6 were too tight. I ordered Size 8 which were too big. Very disappointed as the fabric was lovely."
