"Look, I live in a cold place where even indoors, your hand could stick to the door handle and I was so relieved to be given another Orvis jumper for Christmas by my sister that actually keeps you warm and looks good enough to wear to the pub that i haven't taken it off since, except for 1 night when it got to +9c when I was able to sleep in just my pyjamas. I hope this lasts as well as the first Orvis jumper I had, 5 years."

"I have had this sweater for some years,worn it regularly and generally abused it. It's kept its colour and shape and is just great for fishing and shooting. Only reason I'm writing this review is that I'm just about to order another, in case the line is discontinued."

"I DISCOVERED THAT THE STYLE OF THE COLLAR ( ESPECIALLY THE FRONT ZIPPER) WAS NOT AT ALL WHAT I EXPECTED...I DISCOVERED THAT FOR ME PERSONALLY, IT WAS TOO CASUAL LOOKING...OVER ALL QUALITY WAS GOOD ENOUGH BUT I PREFER A MORE TRADITIONAL LOOKING COLLAR DESIGN...ZIPPER COLLARS ARE NOT A LOOK I WILL MOST LIKELY NEVER PURCHASE GIVEN MY PERSONAL STYLE"

"The pocket design and pocket fabric cause the pockets to bulge out at sides when you move. When tucked in, the pockets sag below the bottom of the sweater. The color is nice, however, and it was a simple alteration to remove the pockets."

"Fit was excellent for 6ft male in good physical condition. Needs to be worn with long sleeve undershirt or other layer because it is scratchy wool. Not cold enough here in OK to wear regularily layered so I sent it back."

"Garmet has sweatshirt styled pockets that tend to bulge open to reveal pocket lining. Bulging pockets added unflattering "girth" to wearer's mid-section. Pocket design cheapened the overall look of this sweater - suggest you remove pockets and reintroduce."

"I really like this pullover and have had several people say they really liked it! But just as some of the other reviews stated, the pockets have a tendency to bulge out a little. The blue specs and other colors are not easily seen in photos on-line. But regardless of those very minor things, it is very warm, very noticeable by others and I would recommend this pullover."

"The pullover is excellent quality and every bit as high quality as I've come to expect from Orvis. The photo of the material, however, was somewhat deceptive and its' actual appearance was unanticipated. I would have chosen a different material if I'd had a better photo of the pullover."

"The sweater looks nice except that the pockets are loose and bulge out on the side and hang below the sweater when carrying a cell phone. We had to fix the problem by sowing the pockets to the sweater."
