Super Slim Shirt-Pocket Fly Box
Great new size addition to the Super Slim fly boxes. In two configurations. Reference cut 7 rows, 11 cut outs per row for 77 total. Or 6 compartment magnetic base. Recommended for nymphs and sparsely hackled or parachute dry flies up to size 16. 3"L X 4⅜"W X ½"D.

"I love being able to go out on the water with one box of flies and one spool of tippet. This box securely holds plenty of flies, in a profile that's barely noticeable in a shirt pocket."

"I love this fly box, I just slip it into a back pocket and go. I am a minimalist fly fisher, so I don't carry hundreds of fly's. This is perfect for my dry's, I have another slit version of this box for my nymphs."

"A ORVIS fly shop turn me on to one when I was re-stocking some flies on the San Juan River in New Mexico. I love this little slim fly box so much I ordered two more online from ORVIS. The magnet backing holds your flies in place so you don't have to worry about losing them while opening the fly box or while grabbing a fly. Perfect size for shirt pocket, wader pocket, or waist pack. Most of us fly fisher are no longer wear the fly vest. These small slim fly boxes take up very little space.

"I use this box when I know I only need a couple of different types of flies and will be traveling light. Instead of carrying multiple boxes I select only the few flies I know I will use. The magnetic bottom holds the flies in place well and it is thin enough to fit in my shirt pocket. Functional little item."

"I have found these to be perfect for nymphs. I really like these boxes as they keep my nymphs organized, while taking up minimal space in my gear. The magnetic bottoms keep my flies from falling out when on the water."

"It's silly that I am this excited about a simple little fly box.
I have 4 other smallish fly boxes, but this one (I have the oe with the dividers) is perfect for keeping my most often used nymphs. I usually have at least 20 of each of my favorite flies, and this makes it very easy to keep them organized.
This box is about the same size as my iphone, so it can easily go into a shirt or pants pocket."

"Where I live it is too hot to wear a vest comfortably. A fly fishing shirt is what I use with a lanyard and these small pocket boxes. The box holds plenty of flies to last a day on the water. Has enough compartments to hold a good assortment. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the magnetic back is weak. Flies (bead heads) will fall out if held vertical or upside down."

"I have used many more costly fly boxes over the years that I consider to be a waste of money; this is not one of them. I purchased one of these wonderful little fly boxes two weeks ago in a fly shop at Penn State. A friend and I were on our way to fish Spring Creek in the Fisherman’s Paradise area. This little fly box was perfect to hold as many size 24, 22, Trico’s as anyone could use on a day of fishing. The magnetic base of the box safely held the small flies from being blown into obscurity when opened. I just ordered four more of these boxes for use. I try to carry only the fly’s I need and this box is perfect for doing just that. I may have ten boxes of fly patterns stuffed in my car but seldom carry them with me. Load three of these boxes in one shirt pocket and you can cover all the bases for most fly fishing needs. I have watched a $100 fly box of my own and that much more in flies shooting the rapids to oblivion for the last time."

"thin, yes, waterproof ? not so much.
A poorly designed product really.
The boxes will twist on opening, as the amount of torque needed to open them, will distort the structure.
This small skew alone, will cause the box's seals to fail at it's corners.

"Love these boxes. I do a lot of small fly (18-26) fishing, you dont have fumble around for your fly and they save a lot of space in my vest. oh and the magnetic bottom, well what else is there to say.

"Many fly boxes are too 'deep'. This is all you need for other than big-game species. It is especialy good for tropical fishing, where all you want is a thin shirt - with a thin fly box to match. I preferred rows rather than compartments."
