Love the Glove,
April 11, 2014
By: Crazywader
"This made-in-USA deer skin glove is very comfortable to wear in cold and warm weather. The inside is unfinished soft suede. It has worn well making it through an entire year used on the range and in the field. Ordered in the correct size, it fits snug - there's no bulk to it - which makes it super for shooting. The trigger finger doesn't get hung up or feel sloppy. I hate when my favorite item ends up being discontinued so, I've ordered several extra pair...just in case. Thanks Orvis for carrying such a good product."

Tough glove,
September 5, 2013
By: Dan0
"This "upland" glove is actually an unlined work glove made in the USA by Geier of Washington state. The deerskin hide is thicker than the Orvis Uplander Shooting Glove and has a seamless palm, which is a plus since the seam where thumb and palm meet on older Orvis Uplanders came apart.
I also like the fact that these gloves can be ordered in numerical sizes, ensuring a more tailored fit."

Poor Quality,
December 23, 2012

"The Upland gloves were of such poor quality that I returned them upon receipt. They were to be a gift & I would have been embarrassed to present them. I made a trip to the retail store, chose another shooting glove & hope the recipient will find these up to Orvis standards."

Great Pair Of Gloves,
October 17, 2012
By: SportShooter50
"I was careful to order these gloves in the correct size and they fit perfectly. You can tell that they are using a high quality leather. While they are not lined (which is good for shooting), the suede on the inside is very soft. They truly are a nice medium weight leather glove, ideal for cold weather clay shooting sports. The only minor nit pick I would have is that the gloves come held together with a small staple going through the inside wrist of both gloves. Sort of what you would expect for gloves found at a DIY hardware store, but not for gloves that cost $69. Very small holes are left so not really much of an issue."

Almost Perfect,
February 21, 2012
By: Busterheel
"I had called a couple times asking for a few domestic products be added to the upland line, and I'm pleased to say Orvis is two outta three. The gloves fit snugly and perfectly, after the required breaking in. They are an upgrade to the imported deerskin glove. I wish the gauntlet was just rolled over and sewn, not finished with a vinyl cuff. This will crack at some point next season."
