Laguiole Pocket Folding Knife
Fully hand made in France since 1829, originally in the southern town of Laguiole, this slim-profile folding pocket knife has a well-earned reputation for quality and beauty. Featuring a smooth opening system, as well as a blade stop. The blade is made of Swedish stainless steel hardened to 56-57 HRC. The handle is available in amourette (snakewood) or cow-horn tip. Suede leather pouch from France. Blade length 3". 3¾" closed. Folding pocket knife in amourette, cow horn. Imported.

"I bought one of these with the wooden handle as a Christmas "present" for myself from my wife. :-) It arrived before the expected date and it exceeded my expectations. It is flawless, sharp and a beautiful, hand-crafted knife that is more amazing than the picture and description on the Orvis web site convey. The hand sculpted main spring on the back is a work of art, but Orvis has virtually no pictures of that (barely visible in the picture). I recommend that Orvis add more pictures as well as more details describing this knife as the history is intriguing. My only dilemma now is whether to carry it, or just display it in my collection."

"We purchased one of these GORGEOUS knives for a Christmas gift and after it came in the mail, we turned around and ordered 2 more to give as gifts to 2 other people! These knives are not only gorgeous, but so well-made and worth every penny. Don't hesitate to purchase. Fine craftsmanship and excellent quality!"
