Exceptional Parka!,
December 16, 2012
By: coleridge
"This is the best styled parka out there. This is not a bulky-heavy parka that limits your mobility. This is tailored and well suited for city living and driving -- but ready for roughing it in the backwoods. It's sleek, comfortable, flattering, lightweight, but very warm. The outer Gortex shell shields rain and wind. The comfortable quilted soft tartan interior snugs in your body heat without the unnecessary weight. The collar sits high to surround your neck with an interior lining of soft black suede. The brass hardware and zipper is rugged and strong. Great front pockets with snaps and gussets for added room. The hood is optional so it can be removed. This is a timeless parka that will last for years to come. Overall this parka is well designed and exceptionally good-looking!"

Nice jacket but expensive,
January 11, 2012

"I prefer very well made outerwear and often spend a lot on coats and jackets; however, when I recieved this coat, I just couldn't figure out why it was so expensive. It wasn't particulaly heavy, which I equate with warmth. And the fabric seemed a bit delicate to me. So perhaps it is somehow technologically amazing and super warm for its weight, but I couldn't find any information to supprt that, so I returned it. It fit true to size and was very flatterring and fashionable, just not the weight or fabirc thickness I expected of a really warm winter parka. By the way, I am 5 ft 7 inches, 150 lbs and fit a size 10 nicely."
