With the plush look and feel of genuine shearling, our warm and cozy, polyester-shearling winter car coat has a clean, elegant design. Defined by darker faux-suede trim along the point collar, button-front placket, cuff edges, and welt pockets. Faux-leather knot buttons. Fully lined. Faux shearling winter coat in camel. Shell: 100% polyester faux suede. Lining: 70% polyester/30% acrylic. Washable. Imported.Sizes: XS(4), S(6-8), M(10-12), L(14-16), XL(18-20); about 33" long.

"My dad sent me this last fall as a gift. It looked great until the buttons all started to fall off and two of them were lost before Christmas. Now I have to find matching buttons and get them sewn on before the weather warms up."

"I was so disgusted with the quality of this jacket! I could't believe that it wasn't even lined!!!! One's buys a "winter" jacket to keep warm. How on earth could an unlined jacket keep you warm? The idea is to have "some" layers inside the coat to keep one insulated from the cold. The quality of the jacket was pitiful, even the buttons were barely sewn on and hanging loose when I received the jacket. My evaluation---poor quality and poor workmanship. To top it all the inside "shearling" side of the coat shed white balls onto my black sweater when I tried it on. This coat and its material are a disaster!!!!"

"I bought one for each of my two daughters and they really like them. The cut is nice and the fabric is very light weight so they drape nicely. They run big so I had to return for extra small."

"The sizing was larger than normal.
The "faux shearling" might have been described more accurately as "faux sheared shearling car coat" in that the "shearling" was much thinner than a true shearling coat."

"Too bad it was sooo creased. Can't even say wrinkled it was so bad. Had to wash it to try to remove creases and ended up ironing it inside out. A royal pain! And the sleeves were so long, my finger nails were the only thing that stuck out of the sleeve. The quality...in one word: CHEAP! Doubt if it would be very warm. More of a fall coat. Surprised it came from Orvis."

"I didn't "really" need another coat or jacket, but my hall closet was filled with black! I just bought a pair of casual brown winter boots and wanted a jacket to go with them and this one was perfect. It feels wonderful on: not too light and not too heavy. Although I've only had it a couple of weeks, I've worn it during the windy days of Hurricane Sandy and it even got a sprinkling of rain on it and kept me dry. It was a good windbreaker, too. I really like it and think I will like it even more."

"Fit allows for layeiring without feeling bulky. Color is as adverttised. Buttons are a bit loose and need to be reinforced. Overall, great cool weather coat. Also love the length."

"I returned the coat.
The sleeves are way too narrow- cannot fit them over a sweater- and also too long. The fabric is OK- not great. I probably would have kept it but for the sleeves.
I am an 8 or 10 on other Orvis products and tried the medium in the coat."

"cute coat from the front but no shaping in the back. In profile, it bows out all down the back, looks like there's a backpack under the coat. Fabric thin, 'shearling' lining poor. Not Orvis' quality for the price."

"I was looking for a coat to wear when my raincoat isn't warm enough but my down jacket is too warm. This meets that criterion. I read other customer reviews so I ordered the correct size. I like the length, color and trim. Only thing that makes it less than perfect: the fleece lining makes it difficult to slip on over some tops. Oh, and I have no problem turning up the sleeves."
