"I love the feel and fit of this vest. I wear a size 6 and the small fit perfectly. I first ordered the navy and was so pleased I ordered it in red as well. Wish the third color were a dark gray or cream or black or maroon instead of that mousy pale gray."

"I was disappointed in this vest. It began pilling on the first day. Long staple yarn does not do that. I returned it and went over to Smart wool for their washable wool."

"I love this sweater vest!!! I am so very glad I ordered it! I bought it in the navy color. I wish that Orvis offered it in more colors like a dark brown. This vest is so lightweight, comfortable and soft! When you put it on - gone is the cold chills of winter! I definitely will be wearing this vest a lot this winter! It also dresses up a blouse."

"I am over the moon about my new vest. It is everything I wanted and more. It is the softest wool, with enough weight to drape perfectly. Because I am only 5'2" many vests simply do not fit well or armholes are too large. This fit is amazing. It is as if it were made just for me!! Would like to eventually have all the colors. As soon as I do I will tell everyone about my perfect vest."

"If you like merino wool, you will like this vest. Very soft, falls well, and just the right amount of warmth. It's not as thin as some merino sweaters, but definitely not too thick. If money were no object, I'd order another color."

"This vest is very well made, soft, an excellent color (I got the red) and looks very nice on me. It is superior to the cotton-based vest that that Orvis also sells. The "M" size runs true (I am between a 10 and 12). I plan to buy it in several other colors."

"I also LOVED my grey wool vest - but wore it to a smoky restaurant so decided to wash it so I could let it dry overnight to wear to a work event the next day. Unfortunately I didn't take time to read the labels since most of my clothes are washable. It shrunk to a size that might fit my 1 year old grandaughter. Had to make a last minute change in my wardrobe plan for the next day. My local Orvis store had sold out of my size, so will probably order another one online.
Just wanted everyone who loves their vest to be sure to take it to the dry cleaners!"
