"This is a very pretty vest with a great paisley pattern. Lots of color on a brown background that goes with brown or black bottoms and a number of different color tops. It is dressy enough for work and can be casual as well."

"This vest looks completely different in the catalog, on the website, and in person! I prefer the version in the catalog, but this was a gift from my husband that I don't want to return, as I asked for it. It is well made, but there is a slight gap around the armpits, even in the small. You would never know it was the same vest pictured in the catalog and on the website, both of which are more subtle."

"I was a little nervous about ordering the vest after reading the reviews but was very pleased when the vest arrived. I was prepared for the vest to be a little dressy. It is a beautiful vest and I love it. I usually wear a size 12 so I ordered the medium and it fits fine."

"I love the paisley pattern and color, but the description did not mention that the fabic is polyester. I made an assumption that it would be cotton. The fabric is rather shiny and to me, sleazy looking, but others might like that look. I wear a size 12 and if you like close fitting attire the medium 10-12 will work. The style and cut are great, wish the fabic were classier looking. I'll be returning it."

"The waistcoat was beautifully made - I just did not like the colour combination in the paisley design.
The photograph in the catalogue showed more ' dark background' Otherwise I would have kept it - I used easy return and choose another waistcoat from you which I am delighted with. Thank you for your excellent service."

"I wanted to like this vest, but just didn't. It didn't fit my body as well as my other Orvis vests. I want princess seams to work for me but they usually don't. And I just couldn't like the material -- it reminded me of old men's pajamas or something. At any rate, there weren't enough pluses for me and I sent it back. I'm sure it works on other people."
