"Well cut & made jacket. Felt like an old friend after the first wearing. Very comfortable, will wear this a lot I feel sure.
I went for a size bigger, after reading other reviews & was glad I did, small fitting.
Very happy with this purchase.

"I have been eyeing this jacket for a while. When free shipping came around, I finally ordered it. I love it. Fits beautifully, dresses up the weekend wardrobe, and I think it will be a timeless addition to my wardrobe. I appreciate the structure of the jacket and the fact that it is fully lined."

Very Stylish,
February 20, 2013
By: Margie7

"This jacket is good-looking and stylish. I look forward to wearing with many different pants and tops, for many different occasions. It is very well made, as are all Orvis clothes. Taking my cue from other reviews about size, I ordered up a size and I'm glad I did. It fits fairly well, although the shoulder area and sleeve length seems a bit large for the rest of the jacket. I'm sure the next size down would be too small. I may need to have it altered in the sleeves and shoulders, which, of course, will add to the cost. But otherwise, I am pleased with this jacket."

"Made well; perfect color with geans or kakis; runs a size small-mine is nice open but would be tight to button. Not all of us are made small sized- this one feels great and compliments me well."

very disappointed,

"Love the style of the jacket, but runs really small. I'm usually a 16 had to order the 18 due to 16 being small everywhere. I received the 18 and that was not much bigger, had to return."

Love this jacket,

"This is a well-tailored, well-fitting jacket. It has a sporting look, but also has so many fine-tailoring details (such as a full lining), that I can wear it to dinner, to the theater, etc. I found the sizing to be accurate. Highly recommended as a quality product."

Liked the jacket,
October 5, 2011
By: Trying
"I liked the jacket very much. However, having taken guidance from one of your sales persons regarding the size the jacket when it arrived was too small. I take a UK size 14/16/ The jacket size was size 10. I would have liked to have tried a larger size to the one sent but having paid £7 for insurance plus postage to return the garment I cannot afford to pay another £7 if it does not fit properly.
Sorry.

Just the job,

"The jacket is just what I wanted, smart but casual and I like the longer line and stitching detail. It will be perfect for cooler days in Autumn. Thank you Orvis for a classic, but not frumpy, jacket. I feel very smart wearing it."

Good Product,

By: islandjan

"The jacket is very good quality, well made. It was exactly as I expected. I usually wear a size 20 in all of my clothing and ordered size 20 in this jacket. Usually that size gives me plenty of room. This jacket fits exactly with no room to spare."

"I have a number of dark denim jackets, but this one's lighter color and neat style make it special. My attitude is, if I can't wear denim to an event, I don't need to go."

Very Nice,
August 12, 2011
By: MansWife
"This jacket is just as pictured and is very nice. It has a fitted appearance in the front and nice length overall, including the sleeves which were just right. I'm 5'9" and usually wear a 10-12 and the sleeves on my size 12 jacket fell just past the wrist bone. It does not have quite the same fitted appearance in the back, but it's not what I would call boxy either. If you like a snug fit, ordering down a size would probably work because there is plenty of room in the shoulders. The only issue I have would be that there is thread or lining material or fabric bunched up between the jacket fronts and the facings. The lumps aren't real noticeable unless you are specifically studying the jacket's construction, which I was."
