"THis is NOT a product suitable for a home as the backing smells like an old tire! Outdoors, fine, but inside the home makes the home smell like a garage!

"This is the third mat of this type I have purchased, and I remain very pleased with the product. Performs as advertised with regards to removal of dirt and debris. My only complaint is that on hard surfaces such as tile floors the mat does not stay put...it tends to "migrate". A minor issue for sure, but one the manufacturer should resolve."

"We purchased this water trapper mat to use inside our front door. We bought it in the evergreen color and the basketweave pattern. The color was true to the color we chose from in the catalogue. We have now had it in place for several weeks and it has proven perfect against snow covered and wet shoes coming in our front door. We are so pleased with the performance of this rug / mat that we will be ordering more for the other doors coming into the house. We feel this rug / mat was well worth the purchase price."

"Wanted something at the door he uses to bring in firewood. He uses a wheeled cart and often drags it through the snow. I am very pleased how this rug catches the wet and the wood droppings. I vacuum AND damp mop my hard wood floors less.

"We have owned a number of the standard Water Trapper mats for several years. They have served ably as shower mats, dog dish mats, and garage entry mats. We have found them effective, skid-resistant, easy to clean, and reasonably attractive.
The newer basketweave version shares all of those practical characteristics and fits better in a more formal setting. My wife thinks it is a fine complement to our tiled entryway.
Highly recommended."

"I have two dogs that shoot in and out of a doggy door and bring a lot of mud and snow with them. This mat holds so well on my hardwood floor: no slipping or sliding whatsoever no matter how hard and fast they hit it. It looks good, seems as though it will last forever, and was made in the USA. I am one happy consumer. Thanks you."

"After entering into a second winter with two 70+ lb german shepherds, I was looking for an entryway rug that would be aesthetically pleasing, but could stand up to muddy pawprints+dirty boots.
This fits the bill nicely. I'm very happy with the look of the charcoal+basketweave combination, and the quality seems industrial strength -- the kind of thing you might see in a nice hotel lobby that has to endure thousands of footsteps a day.
My only regret is that I didn't think to order this sooner."

"I just love it when the product exceeds my expectations! This mat really does catch the dirt and snow coming in my door. It does it with style....the basketweave design is very nice and it grips the floor. There is no danger of this rug slipping under my feet. It grips the floor like it has suction cups on it!"

"Purchased this carpet for my dog entrance. It's great at helping to clean their paws from dirt and help keep water and snow from tracking through the house.
We placed this carpet on top of wall to wall carpet. Unfortunately this carpet still "walks" . Product is pricey."

"With an 8 mo old golden retriever puppy and 2 kids, I needed a heavy duty rug for wiping boots and paws after playing in the yard. This rug fits the bill perfectly. The treads are deeper than those on a similar quality rug from a competitor. Dirt and water stay at the door instead of being tracked all over the house. I love that the rug is sturdy and heavy enough to stay put and not get sucked into the vacuum cleaner.
I was also pleased that despite the fact that this rug was ordered in the midst of the holiday rush, it was delivered quickly as promised."
