The luxurious quilted microfiber top will not attract dog hair, and a space-age, breathable membrane prevents liquids from penetrating while still allowing the furniture fabric beneath to breathe. We love it as much as Fiona!,

"We bought this to help protect our leather couch from 9 month old Fiona, a West Highland Terrier. However, we have enjoyed it almost as much as her. The zip-off bolster makes it comfortable for her as well as adding a little extra lumbar support for us while sitting on the couch. It does not collect hair or dirt and protects the couch from her (and us:-) while fitting in with the decor."

Beautiful but Practical!,

"When the couch protector arrived I was pleasantly surprised. It's really quite beautiful with a velvet like texture, large enough to fit my couch and it looks way too nice to be a couch protector for the dogs!"

doesn't stay in place,
November 17, 2012
By: Threedognight
from Burke, VA
"I agree completely with Annabelle123. It stays on the couch - the underside piece does it's job, the bolster mostly does it's job, but the top piece's "grippers" are very slippery - I think more so than if they had left the fabric alone. I would love to see elastic bands that would connect the top piece to the underside over the front of the cushion or over the corners to hold it in place. Doesn't do it's job when you have to put it back on every time the dog gets up! But for while you are there to supervise, it's well made and looks nice."

Prevents fluids from hitting furniture,
October 30, 2012

"i have the furniture protector on my couch and it was worth every penny it cost. During the rains from Hurricane Sandy, my rescue Westie hopped onto the couch and relieved her bladder. Not a single drop seeped through - after a washing and drying it's back on the couch."

Protecting the couch, but...,
December 16, 2011
By: Annabelle123
"I find that it moves around and slips out of place very easily. The mesh underneath hugs the couch, but the actual cover above the mesh moves about. Maybe Velcro would help. The item is very well made, but the movement issue needs to be addressed in order to have a great product."
