Third pair of these!,

"Yes, they are cheap sunglasses but when on sale they are well worth the money. I bought a pair for each car for driving and kept a pair on the boat. Certainly not high fashion but the best pair of "cheap sunglasses" you may ever own."

"Regrettably, many aspects of these sunglasses are disappointing. First, the lenses are yellow, not amber. Not even close to amber, like the picture. Second, the lenses are slightly rippled - and the distortion is visible when you wear the glasses. Third, the frame is, frankly, cheap and clunky. And the cheap plastic is so dark, one can barely discern that it is tortoise shell - might as well be black. Fourth, the frame is sloppy - the ear pieces actually sit at more than 90 degrees from the plane of the glasses - great if you want to wear them on the outside of your ears...Overall, these glasses are far below the standard I expect from Orvis. Don't waste your money - they feel far cheaper than what you would buy at your local drug store off the rack."

"First of, these are cheap glasses, so you do get what you pay for, and of course they don't match up to the better real version.
But man, for plastic glasses, for that price, it's hard to beat. I have had these for 2 years now, and I'm not real careful with them in my bag, and I'm still scratch free.
the polarization does extremely help you see the fish in the water, but there is some low quality distortion to the plastic of the lens, as it is expected of these type of plastic glasees.
As with any glasses you should try them in store for yourself, but I would definitively by them again... you just can't beet that price for what they are."
