"I had to return these pants because they run long and I had to pull them up to my waist. I should mention that I am not a short person and my legs are not short. I don't care for waist pants. I like them to sit more on my hips. They also were just a bit too baggy for me. Otherwise I think the material is perfect."

"This is my second pair. They fit well and soften with washing. My only complaint? I desparately need them in bleached blue to go with my 2 bleached blue tops purchased last year! Let me know as soon as they're available (hint, hint)!"

"I ordered these pants in both white and oatmeal. The white ones were too snug while the oatmeal ones were roomy and comfortable but long.
That's very poor quality control.
I can't recommend pants or clothes from a place that sends irregular items."

"I bought a pair of these pants in black 2 springs ago, they are a pleasure to wear, so comfortable, and the fabric is just what I think linen ought to be. They do get better and softer as time goes by - I'm buying slate and oatmeal now, since I know I'll be dying to wear them come the first warm days after the winter. Clothing like this is always a good purchase, no matter the season. - PS: I wear a 10 or 12 pant, I bought a medium, and the fit is perfect, and the length on my 5'4" frame (I have long legs though) is also perfect, no need to have them hemmed."

"I wanted to correct a review I made on the crops re: only 3 season wearability & maybe too thick of material for summer. After ordering the safari color - found it to be a lighter weight fabric than oatmeal color. Perhaps w/varying reams/lots of fabric there is a slight inconsistency. Just thrilled I tried again, also as an 8-10 pant, after returning SM, re-ordered MD -overall love these shoreline basics so much getting a 2nd."

"I have had 3 other pairs of these pants, and I've worn and worn and worn them, until finally I've worn them out. Literally. They are great for summer, but the light fabric does wear through. The black ones wore where I sit; the tan ones wore where my purse rubbed against it while walking. The other tan ones wore a hole in the pocket where my cell phone lives. So it goes. I still bought these grey ones, but they are for next summer."

"I've had several pair of Shoreline Linen Pants over the past 5 or 6 years. I generally purchase two or more at one time. They last a long time, but after awhile they look too sorry to wear for work. Those trousers then get relagated for garden wear, or Tai Chi wear..

"I ordered my normal size 16, and found the hips, thighs, and legs to be cut a bit wide. The linen is comfortably smooth, cool, and is not excessively wrinkly after washing, as linen can sometimes be. After a light wearing, hang the pants by the ankles and spray lightly with water and the wrinkles come out for a second day of wear.
Note that the 'slate' color was not silvery-gray as shown, but a pale beige, somewhere between the oatmeal and safari beiges. No hint of blue and not much gray in that pale taupe."
