"I use mine for sporting clays. Bought a second for 28 gauge. Open top is easy access for shooting or for filling from the shotshell reloader. Nothing beats pure leather for looks and durability. You won't find a better product. I've used one for two years and now have bought another."

"A very nice leather shell bag. I would offer a couple of suggestions. 1) Have a larger size available also 2) Offer a discount for multiple sales as most shooter would want one for each size shot shell (4) 3) Offer the initials on a brass plate as well as stamped on the leather. Thanks, al"

"I bought this for my wife to use as a handbag. A while ago I called Orvis and asked about the length of the strap, and was told it was much longer than in the picture--it could hang from the shoulder.
I ordered it, the bag is beautiful and well made, BUT the strap is much too short to hang from the shoulder.
A longer strap would make it perfect, at least for my wife, and I would think the ability to hang from the shoulder would be useful as a shell case."

"This is my second purchase of the Sandanona shell bag-for my wife- and she doesn't shoot! I bought her the first one to save her designer bags from the abuse of roughing it on Jeep trails, camping and traveling and, as it turns out, while shopping. She really loved it and had many compliments due to its appearance and styling. I waited about a week to tell her that her bag had another life. She thought that was fun and put it away-- after about 3 years-- but only because it finally became scuffed. They don't wear out!
She likes the second one even better, as the leather has several shades of color and is slightly more pliable. I took a chance and had it personalized and it really seemed to make it special for her. This is a teriffic shellbag but its utility is even greater if you have a stylish, outdoorsy lady in your life and you would .like to give her something special."

"Holds a zillion 410s and plenty of other shells. Perfect for sporting clays in the golf cart. Perfect for dove field and transferring gear to another's vehicle. Strong, ages very nicely, and classy. Who else has one of these at the hunt? Get it initialed for that extra nice touch. Very cool, extremely functional, will last more than a lifetime. I've had mine for more than two years with constant use. May have to oil it next year."

"Here in the UK, where woodpigeons are an agricultural pest (and delicious) we shoot them over decoys from a hide (blind), often from a sitting position. Volumes can be high; the birds are fast and agile and you need plenty of cartridges; this bag is ideal for reaching into for reloading or filling your pocket. It holds more than, and is easier to carry than, a cardboard 250-pack. I also take it on formal driven game shoots to replenish my more traditional cartridge bag between drives."
