Great filling,

"Initially my dog had the bean filling for his bed, but he didn't really dig and I noticed he liked s softer filling for his beds. Then he ripped the liner with the beans and it was time for a new filling. I replaced it with this filling. I love that you can replaced the parts and pieces and can wash each as well. He is still learning that it is his bed and he can sleep on it (he is a funny pup) But he does enjoy it and his dog friends that visit love it too."

"we have multiple labs and multiple orvis beds, i routinely wash the covers and they stand up great to the daily use and the washing. we love the colors and patterns available too. they are sturdy and the colors don't fade. the liners are a mess. the cover to the liners rips when you remove it from the cover for maintenance. i have a bed from a competitor and their liner is made much like the cover w/ a fabric liner w/zipper. a much better idea. we have four orvis beds and i'm hesitating spending the money on the new liners."

"I bought this replacement liner and within a year the liner had ripped open on the seam. We have an older dog who is not a chewer and it tore right down the zipper. I chatted with Orvis online told them I no longer had my receipt and the customer service rep told me to take it into the store I bought it at (40 min away) and 'possibly' the manager could help me. When I asked what they meant by possibly they said they did not know if anything could be done and it would be up to the manager. They gave no sense that it would be a possitive outcome so I opted out of frustration not to drive the distance to the store. Threw the liner out instead. Very surprised and disappointed in the customer service. I expected more from Orvis."

"I bought an Orvis bed about 6 years ago. The cover is still in great shape but the cushion has gotten very flat. I thought I would need to buy a new bed but decided to buy a new cushion for the bed to see if that would work.
It is so fluffy that I had to entice my dog to try it. (She doesn't like change). Now, she is loving it. I wish I had replaced it earlier. It makes my frugal little heart happy to have a "new" bed for such a reasonable cost.

"I purchased this dog bed a couple years ago & my dog loved it. She lays on it all the time. When I noticed that it was getting flat, I ordered a new filling. I was very disappointed that the replacement filler is as flat as the old one."
