Field Chronograph
Our men's chronograph watch is rugged enough to handle hard use, handsome enough to wear anytime. Inspired by WWII field watches, with a tough stainless-steel case and a sturdy, brown genuine leather strap. Black face with luminous hands and subdials for easy reading of time. Scratch-resistant mineral crystal; superaccurate quartz movement. Case diameter 41mm. Men's chronograph watch is water resistant to 50m. Imported.

"I'd love to say good things about this watch, it's certainly very handsome and I have had several compliments on its looks. However, after a couple of months the stop watch failed to return the second hand to zero, after a couple more the hour hand has started to lag making reading the time accurately quite difficult. On top of that the strap is far too long. IMO this product needs an overhaul."

· Date must be reset every month
· Imprecise build: no "sweep" on second hand or chrono hand; chrono hand does not precisely line up with index marks"

"Very attractive and easy to read in just about any light. Others commented that the band is too long. I am 6ft with an average build. It's just right for me. The case is beautiful. It would make a perfect gift. Overall, this is one of the nicest watches I have owned."

"I bought this for my husband for our 25th anniversary. I had it engraved. The first one had a broken dial. The next 3 watches had crooked monogramming. I would call, complain and get a new watch with the same problem. I thought it was resolved with a nice customer service rep only to get the same watch I returned back in the mail in a damaged box and cheap packing. Finally, I sent it back and am getting a refund. This has been goin on since October. Seriously, shop elsewhere"

band is too long; i mean you have to be a nfl offensive linemen to use the holes in the middle of the band.

"The watch was one that I have admired for 8+ years. I have a few premium watches such as Rolex and Cartier. The detail and classic look of the Orvis watch is on par with those brands. "I purchased this watch as a gift for my husband to replace his old Field Chronograph which had stopped working. There were two problems with the watch: 1. the band is very long and did not fit. Adding an extra hole was not a solution since the band would have wrapped around his wrist too much. His previous Field Chronograph band was shorter and fit fine; he does not have a small wrist. 2. The watch did not keep accurate time. When he called customer service, the only solution offered was to send the watch back and have it "repaired" by getting a new band. This solution was at our expense, which was not a "customer oriented" solution, since we felt that Orvis was at fault in selling a chronograph with a different watch band and not indicating its length in the description. We have returned the watch, at our expense, and are very disappointed in Orvis's service and product."

"Bought this watch for my dad for Xmas. Most reviews I've read prior to purchasing complained the strap was too long. It may have been a tad longer strap, but it was fine and actually preferred by my dad. He liked it a lot. The only thing I didn't like was that it is made in china and $13.95 was a lot for shipping a small package."

"For the money I can't complain. The watch itself works flawlessly and looks fantastic. However, as mentioned in another review the watch band is extremely long. The model I tried on at the store seemed to have a shorter band. When I opened the watch I purchased at home the band was not the same as on the display model. I would still recommend this to someone, but would add the caveat that a new band will need to be bought as well."

"This is a nice looking watch but the strap is WAY too long. I'm 175 lbs and even on the smallest hole it's too loose on my wrist and wraps half-way around again, looking sloppy and cheap. I returned it and will be purchasing something else. Be aware the watch itself is also huge, extra large face."
