Sewn of cool, lightweight, travel-friendly Scrunch Cloth, these comfortable ladies pants can be as casual or as dressed up as your occasion demands. The puckery fabric in a technical blend of viscose, polyester, and elastane stands up brilliantly to the rigours of travel or just everyday life. Designed with an easy, relaxed fit, the straight-leg style has a stretch waistband with side elasticated insets and a hidden side zipper. Finished with front quarter pockets. Ladies travel pants in black. 60% rayon/38%polyester/2% spandex. Washable. Imported.Sizes: S(6-8), M(10-12), L(14-16), XL(18-20); about 31" long.

"These trousers are the ones I could wear every day. The fit is as described and the length perfect for me (5ft 7ins). I love the scrunch cloth which washes and dries very quickly. Ideal for our motor home holidays. The fabric hasn't shrunk at all.
A few more colours would be welcome!"

"I bought these trousers to go on holiday with as they are light and match the previously bought shirt,skirt, shorts and dress.I've not really worn those items much before. Well, the trousers fitted beautifully, comfortable and smart. My significant other commented that they looked good, especially with the matching big shirt.. The ensemble took me sight-seeing, walking, dining out and on to the beach. Versatile and stylish, cool and comfortable, uncrushable in packing. I can't recommend scrunch cloth enough. All items work well with other tops and bottoms and all you need are suitable shoes and jewellery to change the look. Washing is a dream, dry overnight, fresh and ready to wear in the morning. I am buying another style of top so I will be able to take a large weekend bag instead of a huge suitcase. Mix and match for a great range of outfits to take you anywhere! These trousers are the key! One of my best buys!"

"I bought the same size as in the elastic waist pants (which I have in a couple of colors). These seem bigger in the waist and more baggy around the hips (which is the opposite of what I would guess). I'm going to try to alter since I've worn them but next time I will buy a smaller size. I like have scrunch cloth in separates"

"Like a few other reviewers, I have a problem with Orvis's sizing. I wear an 8-10. So the Orvis small is too small, medium too large. In my closet I have two older pairs of Orvis scrunch cloth black pants, one a size small which I had the pockets removed from to make them wearable, and a size medium which is really too baggy to be attractive. I tried this new side zip style hoping for something better since I love the scrunch cloth, but alas, have to send it back. Nice pants if you can get fit!"

"These are very practical travel pants; they line-dry quickly after washing and require no ironing. I'm in-between sizes for these pants, so mine are baggier than I'd prefer."

"Advertised for travel, these trousers, with their secret zip pocket, will take you from an outdoor walk to an evening function without any fuss. As a busy meeter-greeter I have found them particularly useful because they accommodate my money and key. This means I don't need a handbag."

"I was stunned to find these pants had side pockets. Did not see that in the description. I am 5'4", 139 lb. I ordered the small and it was big on me. I am sending these back. I did not care for the style well enough to try the xsmall. I was looking for side zip pants that would lie smooth and flat around the waist and hips. These are definitely not those."

"ordered these trousers in medium thinking the sizing would be the same as the totally elastic waisted navy ones i already had. Sizing was slightly smaller.
Used the excellent returns system with fantastic help from Orvis and the larger all elastic ones are on their way to me. Money was quickly refunded on returned goods. Will order with confidence again now I know how efficient the service is for returns."

"I live in these trousers - I now have bought around 7 pairs. They are comfortable , a good length and wash and dry a treat. They can be smartened up for work and evenings out, but are equally useful as everyday trousers. Don't ever discontinue them!"

"These pants are a great wardrobe basic and are nicely cut. I like the secret zippered pocket for travel. I can wear pants made of Scrunch Cloth in the summer without misery. The pants do not rest against my skin unlike cotton pants, so they are cooler. They stretch a bit so buy your true size- does not shrink. Scrunch cloth is great for travel as it does not show wrinkles,washes in the hotel sink, then dries quickly. I own a matching jacket and capris as well."

"I purchased these pants, as well as a jacket and skirt. They are wonderful, comfortable, lightweight, and easy pieces for traveling (wash in sink, roll in towel, and they are dry and ready to go the next morning). These pants quickly became my favorites while on our very hot June trip to Italy... and yes, these "black" pants are cool and comfy in hot weather. Having read several reviews about them running large, I contacted the chat line. The man suggested I follow the sizing chart. Well, I decided to "listen" to the ladies who wrote the reviews. Yes, the pants do run large, so I selected one size down and they fit fine except for the length, which had to be altered by one inch. Great pants!!!"

"I love these pants - trim but comfortable. They washed well and hung out with no wrinkles. I'm glad I read the reviews before ordering, though, because they do run big. I generally wear a 12-14 pant and the medium in these fit me perfectly. If I hadn't read the reviews I would have ordered the large and had to send them back."

"I love scrunch cloth and have a skirt I wear all the time. However, it has a drawstring waist, and these do not. The waist is too big for me and it stretches. I took them to a tailor because otherwise I like them so much. I would recommend using a nonstretch fabric for the waist lining, or making these drawstring, too."

"I liked the black pants so well that I bought 3 pant and zippered top in black red and navy. They look awesome on and no upkeep. I also bought 2 separate blouses to wear with other outfits. Orvis had supplied me with simple easy clothes that look great."

"I had read other reviews about the pants running large and therefore ordered a size smaller (small vs. medium). I am glad I did as they fit perfectly; I'll just need to hem them an inch. The fabric is light, non-wrinkle and flexible. I took it out of the mailing package and any enroute creases disappeared in 1/2 an hour. After 4 days in the mail, that is impressive."
