"The pattern and colors were good and the fabric was okay. But, it shrank up short and it hung on me like a tent, a too short tent. I carefully followed the washing instructions so that was not the problem. An expensive mistake."

"I had seen the Buti boatneck top in your catalog. It is even prettier now that I have it. Also, it fits well. It is roomy enough to be comfortable, yet not too baggy. Plan to wear it to my sister's wedding in June."

"Very comfortable to wear, the material feels soft and good! The image shown for the product is true to the color and design (for the Aqua Sea color). The boat-neck rests superbly on the shoulders without being too deep or too wide. The tee is however not as well shaped at the sides as is shown (hence the 4-star rating).
So far I've only washed it once (machine-wash and I always line-dry my good tees) and it held shape and color. Overall good first buy from Orvis and it gave me a positive impression of the quality I can expect from Orvis. Please keep selling this product!"

"When I ordered the Boat-Neck Tee in blue, it was back-ordered for over a month, but since it had 3/4 sleeves I was not in a rush for it. The size fit perfectly and I love the 3/4 sleeves. It is perfect for me for early fall and was worth the wait."

"This comfortable cotton boatneck is fresh, youthful and appealing. Some boatnecks dip too low in front.
However, that is not the case with this garment. The fit is perfect; the top drapes beautifully. I ordered this top in coral. This particular shade is a full-bodied, rich sunset orange - just ideal. Thank you, Orvis, for delivering such lovely clothing!"

"I could hardly wait for this tee to arrive, and I put it on immediately. The style, fit and color were perfect and it was and extremely becoming! I wore it out to dinner the same evening, garnering unexpected compliments. I can hardly wait for the melon colored one that is back-ordered! I know that Orvis garments are as close to eternal as one can get, so I expect these two tees to look great forever! They will become favorites, as have my previous Orvis purchases."

"This is a very nice top--soft, substantial fabric and good fit for me. Since I am petite (and Orvis offers almost nothing in petite sizes!!!) I had to shorten the body about 3 inches to be appropriate for me. Otherwise I love it."

"This is a good-looking shirt with a pattern you generally don't find in a knit. Keep in mind when buying it that it shrinks more than most T-shirts. After I washed it it was one size smaller than before."

"I purchased the aqua and am very satisfied with the quality of the fabric and construction. After one cold water washing, I believe it shrank a bit but not enough to affect the comfort. For me, an extra inch in length would have been better as I take up some due to having a full chest. I just ordered the melon color for my mother."
