"I love everything about the gloves except they apparently missed the final quality inspection because one of the wrist cinch straps was NOT sewn in at all. I would have returned them, but everything else is great and I did not think I needed the wrist cinch anyway so I cut them off completely and love them now."

"The leather is quite thick and the lining is cozy and warm, making a great cold weather glove. Even though very heavy duty, they are comfortable and it's easy to do all the outdoor cold weather things with them on. Expensive , but highly recommended."

"I have vaselated over purchasing these gloves for 2 yrs. I finally decided my need outweighed the cost. They are crafted with frontier quality (palms, backs and vertical leather [ie. between fingers] are all separate leather). The stitching and lining are impecable. Not US made, but far superior to any gloves I have had the opportunity to wear for years. Excellent!"

"I purchased these gloves at Orvis store off Preston Road in Dallas, though they did not have these gloves available to try on. In the end I purchase the extra large version of the gloves from the store and they arrived very quickly later in the week just before Christmas On initial inspection they looked lighter in color than I expected, but I still found them appealing enough to keep. The main problem arose the second time I put on the gloves when a strap that tightens at the wrist came off at the point where it should have been securely sewn in. As of this date I am sending the gloves back to exchange for a similar set and if these prove to not have this fault I will give the gloves a much improved rating."

"I'll be returning these gloves bought for my husband as a gift. The most obvious disappointment was the fake polyester "fleece" lining, rather surprising given the cost. The gloves also had a very baggy overall look."
